Honestly I'm about to, sent an email about the state of the tapes yesterday and if I don't get a reply by Sunday I might as well. 

Yeah definitely a mix of both posts about this. He's gone through a bad break up, dealing with the anniversary of the death of his brother, and is just dealing with tons of shit if you look at his twitter. But then he'll also be talking about the album he's helping mix/master, with absolutely no mention of Orchid Tapes releases in production or shipping. Currently waiting for 4 things from him, not sure if I'll ever get them because I'll have to change addresses soon and I don't think he'll even respond if I try to reach out about it. It's understandable, but also very unprofessional and pretty disappointing in the end. Hoping there's a return to form somewhere down the line, but for now I'm hesitant of how things go from now on. 

Around last week i finally got yohuna and emily reo. They were actually in the same package, which was a little annoying cause i paid for shipping twice and i didnt get an emily reo pin or whatever, but then i put them on and ate my guave candy and all of that went away. Both projects are very impressive.

I got one of my tapes signed by Torts yesterday :-) 

Exactly what it is, pretty much. Slight wear on the cover but the vinyl has only been played a few times and has no scratches or skips. Interested in trading for other collectible vaporwave stuff, but any other offer (trade or money) is open too

Im probably the one person with this predicament ever, but somehow I ended up with two copies of Race. I had one guy reach out to me with some offers, but it looks like he backed out for whatever reason. Message me if you're interested in trading for it, looking for other interesting rarities! (Will look at trade offers over money offers)

The anxiety is numbing. There's only a few dozen and there's definitely more than a few dozen of us who have spent years obsessively tracking any possibility of obtaining one. Anyone wanna partner up and do a thing where if it becomes available in some way but one of us doesn't have access  so said partner will grab an extra copy for the other?? 
 
Also.... really not sure how I feel about this. I guess it's awesome for alex, and you can't blame Run For Co'llecting All The Cool Bands for wanting to work with the best of our time. And he's FINALLY coming back to nola on this tour, so I'll definitely grab the tour variant, cassette and new shirt at new orleans.

For me it shifts between RULES, DSU, RACE and Beach Music. Each are so solid in their own rights. 

It's a close one between Trick and DSU for me, DSU has it all but Trick just ends up getting stuck in my head all the time. Race probably comes in at #3 then, but all of his albums are great at the very least tbh 

Yup same material, i think they were printed by the same company. Also whats your favorite Alex G album? Rules is mine because it's just so catchy and melodic, like every song and lyrics sticks with me like...... glue.

Been getting kind messages, especially from rockpocketz, you a straight up baller. But i really was testing the waters. Maybe somewhere down the line I'll let this go, maybe orchid tapes will reissue this on a seven inch or  bird tapes might finally release all the rest of these batches. I think everyone should have this honestly cause it's a raw and sick album. anyways here's some pictures of it! Original order came with stickers!
