I agree with the OP. It's fun to have some reading material. With CDs, I always felt so let down when lyrics were left out. But I still think vinyl trumps CDs as a piece of art. I recently picked up Pinback's Summer in Abaddon and there was a CD insert included in the jacket. That was a first for me.

My wife PO'ed Caspian's Dust and Disquiet from Newbury for me for Christmas (I have a good wife). She gave me the box unopened on Christmas and there was some Julien Casablancas record inside. Talk about a let down! My wife learned to always open the box and luckily Newbury still had copies of Caspian available. They shipped one out ASAP, no charge for shipping to us or for shipping the wrong record back. Aside from the huge initial blunder, pretty good service. Also ordered a bunch from Aomeba records in California for Christmas. Really solid packaging but got one record where the albums had cut through the sleeves. And just looked a bit beat up. They sent out a new one the day I asked about it, with a shipping label to send back the beat up copy. With free shipping and frequent discount codes, I will be going back to Aomeba for sure.

This may be one of the best unknown albums ever) Grade - separate the magnets Appleseed cast - two conversations repress Sparta Wiretap Scars Euro repress on red And some new stuff: Caspian - dust and disquiet Newbury edition Shy, Low - Hiraeth Moving Mountians/Prawn split blue splatter Also, not new but inherited some albums from my mom including some Led Zepplin, John Denver, Blondie, Hall and Oates, Beatles, earth, wind, and fire, Moody Blues, Harry Nilsson, Chicago, and a bunch more. Pretty beat up but classic stuff and fun to spin some records I heard growing up. My whole vinyl habit is thanks to my Mom for sure.

I love Two Conversations. For a long time I thought it was weak but over the years my feelings changed. Peregrine is my favorite though.

Hey all! Longtime lurker and first post. Got my split from Hello Merch and the jacket is split open for about an inch across the top and bottom, like the record pressed up against the inside edges and pressed through. I live 40 miles from Hello Merch so I have a hard time believing this happened during shipping, but HM is saying they can't do exchanges on cosmetic blemishes. Anyone else ever seen this? Any advice? Cheers.
