buying to flip vs. buying to trade...
n1590 replied to andrews's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
i think flipping is just bad karma waiting to happen, but buying doubles of a record just so you can have another record down the line is not so selfish. i mean, i love circa survive, and i bought two juturna vinyl just because i knew i was going to have to trade it to SOMEONE for the elusive doppleganger(misp). i find nothing wrong with flippers because EVENTUALLY things get repressed, and i have no problems with waiting. -
mr paul, i believe theres a dutch import of slowly going the way of the buffalo(misp) out there(sometimes on ebay) thats preety cheap, like ten bucks cheap my man. keep on the look out for that.

i thought they had a picture disc of the self titled too? sooo confused right now.

speaking on behalf of the african american race, we just don't KNOW how to give high-fives. and if you tried to, "the pound," as we call it, would interfere. we just have to much damn rhythm to give a simple high-five.

i just found the whole homosexual thing sad. that guy really lives in the land of gum-drops and rainbows, when he SHOULD be reaching out to his son, making him feel comfortable in his skin. i just hope the kid isnt TOO damaged from his dad's jackassery. and as far as evolution goes, we evolve every day, to our surroundings, to anything. it's almost impossible to argue with. -
ive been a member of this community since the damn thing started and i barely have 20 posts. i guess i need to get my priorities straight haha.

how much would you sell those for? those would be GORGEous for like a 7inch or a 10inch.. you do that professionally?

3:10 to yuma was a preety awesome western. haven't seen the original, but Cristian bale and Russel crowe do a preety good job.

howabout noiser then? no? i never really liked to define music anyway, so lets forget about the whole spazzy statement. and to be completely honest, what the chariot did with their first album is the ballsiest move i ever seen any band do, its just that they might of went a little to far with it and no one was really prepared for it. but hell, im weird, i have weird tastes, and to hear music like that, no apparent composition, reckless arrangements, a vocalist with one of the best throats in metalcore (he actually exhales when he screams, which is kinda daunting considering he hasn't lost his voice yet), it just pure passion, the way rock or punk or whatever started. and thtats my essay on the chariot, i promise to stay out of this forum .

hopefully, being in the small contingent (at least on this board) of people who like a little bit spazzier music. Solid state will eventually find a partner for their vinyl releases, as the popularity of vinyl increases throughout underground music. but don't hold your breath i'd say. and unless you want the wolves called out on you i'd suggest you don't mention heavy heavy low low and vinyl in the same sentence. haha.

Heath Ledger found dead in NYC apartment
n1590 replied to scottheisel's topic in Everything Else Message Board
i predict that heath's last role will be legendary. its almost as if the whole crow thing happend, and i have a feeling that this film, or at least him playing the joker will be THAT more haunting and evil. can't wait. -

this is why this messageboard is the only one i'll post/visit. i just learned so much without anyone getting any bad vibes towards one another. i think moderation is the best solution to go with in regards to weed, limit yourself, i do it once a week just to put things in perspective, but then again, if your an addict by nature, I don't think you COULD moderate the substance, its just like any addiction really.

not to thread-jack this or anything, but has anyone done LSD? i did it a month ago when my godmother died and listened to brand new's the devil and god are raging inside me. not a good idea.
