I just got shipping confirmation from Bullmoose for the blue.

Where did you read that?
If you add it to your cart, a notification comes up that says that due to overwhelming demand, more will be pressed and shipping out mid-June: http://cult.vaesite.com/governors-ball/
-
Looks like there will be more than 500 of the orange 'Governor's Ball' variant. They're pressing additional copies......

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ow, my sides.
Well, he has dropped it $15 in the last hour or so. That was nice of him.

I ended up preordering the Newbury cover variant. They don't charge until it ships, so I have time to change my mind and go for a different one I guess......
-
Definitely like the Newbury cover better - will probably snag that and then maybe do a 'Crate' subscription at VMP to get a red vinyl copy. My local store is participating in the 7" release too though. Ahhhhhhh - decisions!
-
Fat Beats has 20% everything including preorders (the Sublime releases are up there)
Code: MEMDAY
-
So no other site has put up the blue variant other than Bullmoose?
-
I thought that I saw Bullmoose put up a tweet earlier that said something like 'Based on how quickly people are ordering, it's hard to imagine there will be enough to go around'. I'm assuming it was for the blue variant. So maybe they aren't even sure how many they're getting?

That newberry joint is now gone completely. Wow. Purple w/ bonus 7" looks cool tho. With their last album they added a splatter tour variant later.
I still see the Newbury version in stock. Just not the autographed poster/7" combo.
-
Newbury's autographed poster/7" offer is now sold out.

And for the Eminem home 'dog tag' enthusiasts: https://shop.eminem.com/collections/mmlp/products/good-wood-dog-tag-x-mmlp-cassette

Oh, it's other rappers on his beats? I get it. Kinda disappointed myself there, that's what I get for being ignorant.
Nah - no worries. I get this and his Special Herbs releases mixed up too.

Gonna have to grab this. Purely instrumental hip hop is my lost love, and I'd like to start collecting some more Doom.
Just FYI - this isn't instrumentals. This is Doom mixing his beats over different acapellas. Here's the track list: https://www.discogs.com/MF-Doom-Special-Blends-12/release/702425

What do you guys think of rob doing astro creep in full at riotfest?
Wz live always brought the energy but rob was pretty awful with the mic. Not sure 20 years later it won't be cringworthy
Rob puts on a show - never really known for his mic skills. This is very tempting for me to go back home to Chicago and check it out - and the rest of the lineup is ridiculous.

This is one of the better box sets I've seen. The book is pretty amazing, vinyl sounds good for what the source material was, and I'm glad I was able to snag a 'toxic green' set. The jackets look great too and are super sturdy. Luckily, I didn't have any dings on the box when it came. Overall really pleased with this.

Another movie I am unfamiliar with but I'm sure some here dig.
Not blown away by the sub variant, but am looking forward to this nonetheless. Love the movie!

I've got that going, but I'm afraid they'll sell out before I check my email.
Their system for notifications sucks. I've rarely gotten the notification in time to get what I want. Best chance is to just randomly refresh the page for the 7" and hope to get lucky.

Is that a "later today" or a "sometime this week" thing?
I would guess later this week from how it sounded, but not sure. There will be copies up there at some point though.
-
Just talked to Turntable Lab and they said they will be putting up copies of the 7" online, they're just waiting to get them from distributor. Sounds like there will be copies available from them though.

Well...mine was packaged just in the box w/o any packing material/padding...hence suffering from crushed corners. I could live with it...sure...but for the price paid...I'd expect better care and condition to be received in. Does that make me sound entitled? I'm sure some will think so...but hell, I mentioned in my email to NG that I'd be willing to even pay for a new storage box.
You shouldn't have to pay for anything and definitely doesn't make you sound entitled. They should have shipped it better, and now I'm curious what mine will look like when it gets to me next week. If I sell something and the buyer receives it damaged because of how I packed it, then I compensate them something.
If mine has crushed corners, I'm getting something from them out of it and I'm not paying for shit - lol

The prices these auctions are up to on eBay are ridiculous.
Love the song, love the album - but why are people paying over $200 for this? I could MAYBE see if it was limited to 500 or even a 1000. And I know it's hard to get even though 2500 were made - but damn........
