Record Store Day 2016
docbronze replied to itsgoodtobefree's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
And Wah-Wah in Europe, but this isn't Popol Vuh or the score for Herzog's Nosferatu the Vampyre. It is a 1997 performance by the Prague Philharmonic of a re-score written by James Bernard of Hammer Horror score fame to replace the lost music for FW Murnau's 1922 silent film, Nosferatu. Also it's a 7". -

Record Store Day 2016

There're some interesting titles on the US and UK lists this year, but only a couple that I know I will spin on the regular. Not complaining, mind you, it is far too easy to find ways to spend money without RSD. -
Mostly this. I have plenty of splits and stripes and spatters and swirls that sound fine, but solid colors, preferably black, but including clear, are a safer bet. My point is that you should absolutely get the version that you will enjoy the most, whatever the reason, but if you get "stuck" with the more limited clear version, at least you probably got the best sounding variant.

The clear'll probably sound better.

The Mondo email said Mud would contain interviews with Wingo and Nichols. Are these audio or in the liner notes? There's a little over an hour of music on the CD release. -
Official Dream Catalogue™ / Vaporwave Thread

Thanks for the heads up on this. I presume it's just the Remember tapes on Plus 100, correct? Because I would love to get my hands on Remember's cassette release on Dream Catalogue.- 590 replies

Thanks for all the info, slinch. It's too bad they are not releasing more of the represses on tape. Or the new album for that matter. I am a vinyl fiend first, but I prefer these sounds on cassette.
