I thought the movie "Titanic" was terrible. But I don't have any qualms against the actual event that killed like 1500 people. That's actually pretty sad.

I saw "Up" in 3D on opening night &it was amazing. After "Wall-E", "Up" definitely takes the place for second. The story was great, and I loved the world that they had created. Also, I am totally naming the next cat I get, Kevin. &i hope it's a lady cat.

I don't think people understand how fucking difficult it is to make a film that takes place all in one room. A friend of mine just did so and I was amazed at all the difference angles she was able to produce without making it looked forced. &without breaking 180 degree & 30 degree rules to boot! I'll definitely let you know what I think!

score! I HATE TIM ALLEN for the record. My cousin fixed his computer for him and has all these weird pictures of him and Tim Allen on his myspace. It's obvious it aimed to be cute (especially from the poster), but the somber tone of the film and the drab cinematography kept it from achieving that aim, in my opinion. i suppose it is here that we will have to agree ... to disagree. ;] although, I will say that sadly, I do not think mr. craig gillespie is on his way to anything big, seeing as his only other film he's directed was Mr. Woodcock.

not so sadly, i find it's better to have different tastes every once in a while. ;] &if we've gone this long, I'd say that's pretty good. I usually find myself in a deep film debate once a day. i can see how you would find this film contrived, but in my opinion I thought the pity used seemed pretty real & helped to define the character. Although, I thought the development was a little two dimensional at times. I felt as a directorial debut, it was rather good. The script isn't perfect, but I still found it very cute.

that's a great movie & an awesome poster. I bought it from some kid from school for $5! what a deal.

you could've skipped out on that &saw some good music & met some good people.

hey! I'm in town for a few, and my friend's/boyfriends band (shameless plug) is playing in Hamtramck tonight at the THC. &i don't know why it's called a coffee house, because it's a bar. They have like 30 beers on tap so you can drink some good shit if you're so inclined. anyways, it'll be a good time & I'm almost positive that it is free, since the flyer doesn't say a price. &unless it was a special, they did have $3 pints of some pretty good beers. so to sum it up! come hang out with me.
