but you do have the internet ;] I don't think I'll ever see a show I'll love more than Six Feet Under. It made me change my mind about television. I just watched it for the first time this summer, and have since gotten the amazing box set with grass on top & have watched it a million times. I don't think I've ever seen a better written pilot episode. It would be my dream to write for HBO one day. also, I'm obsessed with Alan Ball circa 1999-2005. But I still haven't seen True Blood yet, which half of the people I've talked to love it and the other half thinks it's terrible.

yeah, I know getting to the double door sucks right now since the blue line is down for ruining lives. &i'm coming all the way from bridgeport! But I think I may take the Halsted bus to the Milwaukee bus so I don't have to deal with the blue line. Reggies is much closer, but I love the Popes so much and it's been like two years since I last saw them. Maybe not that long, but it feels that long. I haven't gotten into Chuck Ragan. Maybe I should go to his myspace. haha

i live like maybe 2 miles from there. last time I went to Reggies I got SO drunk I bought a pack of smokes for like $12. $12!!!!!!!!! And when I came home I stole some of my roommates pot. lol Have fun there tonight! If I weren't such a huge Smoking Popes fan I might've thought about that one.

can you imagine coming out to that guy? my best friend just came out to her dad who is this former marine, only drinks Red Dog beer and eats huge slabs of nearly raw meat, and he choked on his food when she told him. But if could have been the way she said it. "well dad, you are what you eat. and I'm a lesbian" probably wasn't the best way to do it.

lol I want to start saying "The Boss is so thoughtful" on a regular basis. My last awesome dream involved Steve Buscemi! I was at school in the film building, except in my dream it looked nothing like the film building in real life. But, I was there with my roommate because I had told her Steve Buscemi would be a guest speaker and we both love that man. After Mr. Buscemi is introduced he climbs onto stage and says one single sentence that I couldn't remember when I woke up. Then he pulled out a huge machine gun from his pant's pocket and started shooting people! Jenny and I started running towards some doors and then I saw him shoot her in the back and she went down and told me to save myself. I dragged her into the elevator and we rode up to the 8th floor, which is as tall as the film building for real. Then I found a secret staircase and after throwing Jenny over my back I climbed that staircase like it was mount everest. After two flights there was a door to a secret library. I opened up the door and I see my dad talking to a team of men and women with bullet proof vests, hard hats and AK-47s. My dad turns around to me and calls up one of his minions to take Jenny to the "hospital wing". and pats me on the back before saying, "I've gotta go have a little conversation with Mr. Buscemi!" And then I woke up.

dude, I don't know. I don't even have that album as a CD. or mp3. I drove to Baltimore to see them once when Channels opened up for them in like 2005 or 2006, and they played a few songs off of Slow Down and I really liked them, so I don't know what the hell I've been waiting around for.

my bad :x, I just assumed it was in Tampa, because I remember driving by some huge Tampa sports venue. I think it was baseball, but I'm definitely not sure. We did drive around a lot before we found the place. when you're a girl who's lived her entire life in the midwest, manatees can be very exciting I wish I could remember where that park was! I'm terrible at remembering cities and places and streets or whatever. My boyfriend always remembers those, so I never have to. haha We were staying in Madeira Beach though. Some friends of my parents had a timeshare and couldn't make it down for a one of their weeks and they just gave it to my parents. It was pretty awesome. edit!: i just looked on a map of florida and the locations of it's national parks and it def was DeSoto. It's the only one in that area. Now, I will know when I want to go back and visit

i've been told by a few classmates that they admire the way the scripts I write are always overflowing with imagination. &in a creative writing class two years ago, a piece I wrote that I read aloud actually got the class into a massive argument. 2/3s saying the piece was beautiful and haunting and the rest saying it was absolutely disgusting. i love posts where we all pat ourselves on the back.

My boyfriend was supposed to come from Detroit to Chicago this weekend and I mentioned the show and we were going to go, but now I guess his band has to record shit, so I'm going solo. I'll drink some beers with you. Or hard liquor behind a dumpster. Whichever is cheapest.
