  1. i don't think ska is out of mainstream at all. reggae and ska songs are used in commercials and advertisements more now than they were 5 years ago... its all a matter of a band making that one hit song for ska to be shot back into the lime light and then ruined all over again in, what can be discussed as the next disco era... ska went out as fast as disco did.
  2. Last year when Dan Andriano was doing his solo tour I kept yelling Tuesday songs out. He wasn't too fond of me, haha. pittsburgh date, day before the Larry Arms show, i wanted to go to both, but I saved money for the larry arm/ragan tour.
  3. and maybe this collection will grow even more!
  4. Big D and Streetlight are single-handedly reviving ska. Big D's first date of tour on friday had 450 kids in buffalo. thats insane.
  5. I used to go up to Fredonia all the time. we played at BJ's a few times and I was good friends with that band Tomorrow is Forever and League, and those guys were all from that part of the state... man, those were some good times
  6. I have an on/off beard. heisel can attest to my beardness, so can kirby and if pfresh is on here, so can he. I can be one bearded mess.
  7. they used to play Philly ALLLLLLLL the time thanks to Eva... I wonder if she has her hands in on this.
  8. i missed their last tour with flogging molly because at the time I thought "eh, they'll be touring again, i'll skip this". I saw them 6 months prior at the Grog Shop with PMFS and that was hands down the best set EVER witnessed by a band. Prior to that it had been 2 years since they played cleveland, and I hadn't seen them in that time period... every tour they did either went to philly or chicago and never closer... so while I got to see them one last time, playing the best setlist I could have asked for, it was not enough. I think I saw this band 15 times in 6 or 7 years? fuuuuckkkkk, I cannot wait to know where they're playing because natalie and I will be traveling to said cities.
  9. nice, I dig your band oh, awesome! we've never been up to mass before... im hoping to get up there this winter sometime though!
  10. thanks dudes, kirb directed me to the board, I think I know some of you as well...
  11. was there an introduce yourself thread? sorry if there s one floating around. i'm Mike Torti, I have a widows peak. I live in Pittsburgh but im from Erie. Hello
  12. hahaha $25 without, i hope you seriously make people pay that if they show up not in costume
  13. the motor on mine just died and its one that I cannot open without destroying to replace it.. any suggestions on where I can get a decent record player for a decent price? and, if it needs a reciever or not.
  14. you're not dude, the draft is horrible. I wouldn't go so far as horrible... there are a lot of other bands who are horrible in my books before the draft. dissapointing is a more fitting term i think
  15. sooooo... i had to register for this thread... this best not be some cruel joke where they "reunite" for some interview... there better be some music playing involved and enough notice for myself and a few others to be there
