  1. I've got my eye on these, may order most today:

AFI - Black Sails in the Sunset - 13

Anti-Flag - Mobilize - 8 (one of my favorites from high school, 8 bucks, are you kidding me?)

Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlanticism - 45 (not sure if i trust this)

Death Cab For Cutie - Plans - 19

    Fleet Foxes - Self Titled - 12.5

Iron & Wine - Our Endless Numbered Days - 12

    She & Him - Volume One - 14

This Will Destroy You - Self Titled - 20 (wish there was a way of knowing which of the zillion variants this one is, haha)

I picked the TWDY up after Christmas with some BB gift cards and I received a purple/pink swirl color. I also had Plans in my order, it was on backorder and like a week or two later I ended up getting a refund because they never recieved anymore copies.
  2. You drove all the way from Roanoke to Chapel Hill? We drove from Tidewater area (about 3 hrs). What an awesome show!

From Fathoms /300 was not too hard for me to find this summer, but since then all the copies have dried up. Will keep an eye for ye.

Yup! That's usually about how far I have to travel. It was about a 2.5-3 hr drive for us. It was hands down one of the greatest shows I've ever been to. I've been listening to them for years but never got the chance to see them play. I was not let down at all! There is this great record shop down the street from 506 that we went to called CD Alley. Did you happen to check that place out? And that would awesome if you could keep an eye out for me on that Gifts record. In January, I emailed Lindsay and Joel about a possible repress of From Fathoms and was ecstatic by the response. "Absolutely, it's one of our favorite records we've ever released. I believe the band wants to get it remixed & remastered before any represses take place :) Hopefully we can get to it sometime this year!" :D

  3. The purple tape!

    Pretty rad score there.

I could not believe that it was the purple tape when I first saw it. I go to that Goodwill regularly and not once have I ever seen good hip hop tapes in there. Someone must have unloaded their whole collection to them. Crazy.

  4. I'd make sure the Sony is level... Balancing between two tables can be tricky.

I don't know why I didn't think of that before. I will definitely move it over to where it is sitting on just one of the crates. Thanks!

This seems oddly familiar...I feel like maybe I might have helped a guy who had a similar aet-up organize his collection...

Yes sir. But that guy probably had shitty records.

  5. "At last, back from Japan with a limited number of 7" Imports in tow. Home After Three Months Away is far and away the most beautiful release to date, with Empire! squeezing 4 songs on to one 7". Thank Robert Lowell for the inspiration, and get these before they sell out here forever.

Released by Stiff Slack Records, comes with a Digital Download code."
