Awesome, works perfectly now!  Loving the site, and trying to remember everything over the years.  Its kind of getting me nostalgic.

One issue I've been having when I've added a few shows, a couple times I hit enter and it submitted it before I was finished.  When I went back to edit what was missing usually the City, State when I submit it, it doesn't keep the city,state saved.

I found a couple RCA speakers, older ones, and a Kenwood 7-piece set. The Kenwood was $100. Also 2 Panasonics. All about knee high. Not sure what else info I can give you. 

 

For speakers at least for the Panasonics you can usually fairly easily take the front grills off, and then inspect the cones to see if there is damage or dry rot.  There are kits to re-cone speakers, but that all depends on if you're comfortable.  I'd say a smart thing to do is write down what you see with model numbers, or if you have a smart phone just look it up there.  But usually you can find some information on whether or not the stuff is good to begin with and would be worth investing anytime and effort to repair.  I've not personally bought any equipment at the Thrift Store but I did look through a bunch of thrift stores and did this to determine whether or not to drop any cash on things.  Ultimately I didn't really find anything of worth in my searches, but maybe you'd have better luck as others definitely have. 

I've been married for almost 8 years now, here's how my proposal/ring purchase went.

My wife is low maintenance as well in fact she really doesn't like jewelry, with the insistence of some friends I decided to finally go to store to look at rings. I went through tons of rings and decided on the ring that would fit her personality, was a very non-traditional type of ring and I thought it was perfect. I believe I only spent $175 on it, it was on sale and I was extremely poor at the time and had to buy it with a credit card. The thing about the ring especially if she doesn't know it's coming isn't in my opinion about how much you spend it's what it means. That ring meant I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life, and she got to wear it to let the whole world know she was taken. I don't think you should be caught up in how much to spend, look at rings and find the one you like or you think she'll love.

The proposal:

First thing I did was spoke to her Mother and Father to get their permission, I just felt that it was necessary, it freaked me out but I had to do it. Then I called my parents to let them know I was going to do it. With that out of the way I planned my proposal, I created a button design, with a ring and the words "will you marry me?" As well as two that said "She said Yes" and "I said yes". I had some with a button press make them into buttons then I went to where she worked which was a sweet coffee shop. I hung out all night which I normally did just waiting until she was off work. It was getting close to closing timed and I pulled her coworker aside (Jon Lullo from Down to Eatth approach) and said I'm proposing to Janet tonight make up something so you have to leave, and he was like definitely. So he made up a lie, she was pissed at him because she now how to clean the shop up by herself. I helped her clean up everything but she was pretty pissed that he left, just as we were finished I was like I need to go to the bathroom. So I went in the bathroom made sure I knew what buttons were in what pocket, and that the ring was situated in the right spot and then came out. As she headed for the lights I said wait a second don't turn the lights off yet I got you a button. She rolled her eyes and let off some steam but complied. I then "tried" to get it out of my pocket and dropped in on the floor, then with a knee on the ground I picked it up and handed it to her. She read it and was confused will she focused on the button I pulled the ring out and she looked down and I just said "Will you marry me?" She said yes freaked out probably hit me for sending Lullo home called Lullo to tell him he was a jerk, gave her the other button then she proceeded to call her parents and best friend.

Overall it's a great memory for us and I don't know that I would have done it any other way in my case. I liked that it was a private moment and I think that she liked that it was a private moment only shared by us.

Ok I was thinking it could have been a fluke thing, but I guess it's probably not selling as well as they hoped...

So I was just trying to find some info on this record after grabbing during the SRC flash sale (was super happy to only pay $14.99). It looks like they sent me one of the Cream (/250) subscriber variants. I wondered if anyone else took advantage of the deal and also got the Subscriber variant?

The Abyss is excellent.  It's a good beer to split with someone, 22oz of it is a lot for one person.  I've had it new and aged for a few years.  If you're a patient person, I'd recommend stashing it in a dark cupboard and enjoying it in 2015.

 

 

Yeah...I don't see that happening.  They were talking about it alot while we were there.  I guess people were calling and they were holding bottles for people, and only had 2 left on the shelves.  My wife just said I want it.

So my wife and I went on an adventure to find this beer shop called The Art of Beer a little ways away from us.  It was pretty freaking awesome in the first 5 minutes of going into this tiny store(but had a huge selection) we were trying beer for free.  We ended up trying Hop Hedge(IPA) from Dechutes, Cherry Truffle Abduction(Double Stout)  and Derketo (Belgian IPA) from Pipeworks.  Then we continued to look around and talk and finally made our purchase:

While this is a decent 7" with the way better Young New England...I don't understand why it doesn't have the title track on it, but in the download code?  So Strange..

Yeah, I don't understand why they would send out the files with literally no tags/info in them at all.

Yeah that doesn't make any sense, since its so easy to do.

 

I will say I'm listening to this 7" right now and holy cow Young New England is a completely different song.  Its so much better sounding, like I'm considering deleting the album version and just using it as the normal version of the song.  Maybe the song has just grown on me but this version is so much better.

Stuff was amazing, couldn't even taste the alcohol. On tap only in a few restaurants and bars in Chicago. They'll be at the Lincoln Park Whole Foods on Thursday 12/12 doing tastings and selling limited quantities.

 

 

Sounds pretty cool, just looked and a bunch of places really close by have it, even some that I frequent every now and then.  Might have to check it out one of these times I'm out.

Strange I really enjoy some of the magic hats. I super like #9, as well Elder Betty and had Circus boy the other day. And Pistil is pretty good as well. Their more experimental ones I try but usually know they're going to be way too bizarre to be good. But as you said it just boils down to personal taste.

Would the back port being too close to the wall make it seem muddled? That was my first thought.

How do you know they're going fast? I ordered mine just didn't see anything as to what order I was. I was hoping to get the free download of the new album.
