I had a job interview today for a file clerk position in a dental office, and the dentist in charge asked me these questions and nothing else 1. In the alphabet, what letter comes before k? 2. What letter comes after q? 3. What's 14 plus 17? 4. Who is the current vice president of the United States? 5. What country is directly south of the United States? just to make sure I'm not completely incompetent I guess, because what else do you really need to know to be a file clerk in a dentist's office? The guy got over 300 calls so I'm not sure how I feel about it, but he seemed pretty impressed that I answered all of his questions (which is sad.) It's so nice to not have someone bullshit me around for a shitty $10/hour job. That guy could easily do what a lot of people are doing and hire "interns" to do grunt work and not pay them because people are desperate even for experience, and he's not even being a smart ass and demanding a bachelor's degree to be a file clerk. It was refreshing.

That racist system effects the prosecution of every crime though, even those "heinous enough" ones (I don't think that a minority who actually murdered someone should get a free pass, obviously, but minorities go to jail more than white people across the board and that's not being addressed.) It's not even about that though, her post was ridiculously simplistic and the fact that she wants to continue that kind of medical testing is pretty lulz. I wasn't expecting anything different from someone who thinks affirmative action is racist though. EDIT: Are you fucking kidding me? I have to know someone in prison to care about the bullshit system that supports it? You don't have to have a law degree to notice these things.

prisons? commit a heinous enough crime, be subjected to medical testing. in order for medicine to advance and benefit humanity as a whole, these tests have to be done. at least i'd feel a little better about testing on despicable human beings. Where did you find out about the pure orange one? I remember pre ordering the flame orange (which they specifically labeled the second pressing) and that was the only option available, no one I know ever heard anything about the plain orange (I know a lot of MBD fanatics, haha.)

Do you mean the In Bocca 10" or 12"? The 12 is a repress (pretty sure it's still up in their online store) and is on an orange swirl, and the 10 is like half red half gold, those are the only two pressings of that record. I know a few people who have gotten the first press via Amoeba's mail order, you should try that. EDIT: I have a three men hangin' XL pull over hoodie if you're interested in that? I wore and washed it once but it's just enormous on me.

Orange is actually really conventional for today. Just means you're from the north. FAIL. This is definitely in my top five "Days Out Of The Year I Hate The Most Because I'm From the US." Fucking every white person ever is ~Irish~ today. Shut upppp.
