no disrespect by any means... but am i the only one rather disappointed by the two songs on this split? converge is hands down my favorite band, n there's definitely not one release by them that i don't dig... but this song sounds so weird. when they played it live it sounded tight as fuck, but on the record, bannon's vocals sound super low and wayy too droned out in the music. anyone else? thoughts...?

Super fucking stoked. My mom went to VA for the week and i asked her to check out some local record shops for this. Suprisingly enough, she found one copy. The dude told her he had it in the back and it was set to release on 4/23(?). Regardless, the dude was cool as fuck and sold it to her. She's due home tomorrow so as soon as i get it ill post pics in here if anyone's interested.

Listened to this last night. All i have to say is it completely blew me away. Fucking incredible release. Fucked Up always know how to craft a masterpiece of an album...

I couldn't believe this shit. I sold a record to someone on here a little over a week ago, got some tracking info for him, and expected it to arrive in no time. I live in IN and he lives in NY. I was following the tracking info just to make sure he got it with no problem - checked that shit the other day and it showed in New Jersey. Then no update for like 5 days. Then it showed tracked in Federal Way, Washington. WTF? Feel super bad for this guy - they finally sent it back to NJ today... So hopefully he'll get it tomorrow. Fucking USPS.

Pretty funny. I contacted amazon last night via a "live chat" with someone that worked there to see what was going on with this. I told him I had placed a pre-order, and that someone on this board received an email from Amazon stating that they were having issues filling the order, and that they may not be getting them afterall. I explained that I never received such an email, and was hoping that was a sign of good things. All the dude could tell me was he checked their site and the item showed "temporarily out of stock". Which meant they were still waiting on the item from their distributors. I told him I understood that, but since I had placed a pre-order and the item was now showing "out of stock", it just meant they had filled all the pre-orders and had no more left to sell. Apparently, this isn't the case... He really couldn't give any helpful information. All he said is that they were waiting for them to still come in, and were going to send them out accordingly, which i assume would be in order of those who pre-ordered...?

So this means matador will have the same pre-order up on their site? $35 for the 2xLP and 4 7"s is quite a decent price.

Actually, fuck. I just read more into this and as badly as I want to order it, they don't ship you anything. It's your responsibility to go to a "local retailer" and pick all your shit up - which isn't a problem... but when you live over 100 miles from the closest retailer, that kinda blows.
