can anyone help me figure out some static issues i'm having with my set-up? only seems to happen from time to time where my speakers are overtaken with an incredibly loud sound of static, and then goes back to normal. happens with different records. sometimes i'll play the record and it will play flawlessly, then go a couple days and replay it and will experience the static issue. not sure if it might be my shitty pre-amp (Behringer PP400 Ultra-Compact Phono Preamp), or possibly the record player itself, or my speakers (optimus sts 800). any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated... thank you,

kinda lame shit i know, but i'm having troubles finding better quality mp3's than what my DL code offered me. maybe i'm a borerline audiophile, but 160 kbps. fucking seriously? can anyone else help a brother out with some QUALITY mp3 files? it's a shame i can't take my record player everywhere... or else this wouldn't be an issue. thanks,

snagged the ltd edition copy. couldn't pass it up. first album killed. and if "holy fuck" is any indication of what the new album will be like, it should dominate their debut (if thats even possible).

i would say the only issue about mailing them standing up is the corners might get beat up pretty bad. i know you shouldn't stack your records, but if it's going to be in transit for only a few days, i don't really see that being much of an issue. i'd wrap each record up in bubble wrap like you stated and then stack them on top of each other... maybe try filling the sides of the box with either peanuts or newspaper... you'd definitely want to make sure they weren't going to be moving all around in the box while being handled from post office to post office.

many thanks for all the responses. i didn't want to waste $20 on an lp that had shitty quality. such a good album and yet you would think someone would sample the test pressings (if they even made any) to verify how it sounded. oh well. guess i'll juss stick to the digial version i got. thanks guys,

Found this at a local record shop and was gonna pick it up, but have read multiple reviews online about the pressing, saying it sounds horrible and entirely droned out. Can anyone who owns this verify? Don't want to waste my money on a super shitty release of a good album. Thanks,
