Yes dude! I have been to both Gilead Fests and the first Migration. Definitely not missing this one! Lineup is already in the ridiculous realm and its only half of the bands. Really hoping for Oranssi Pazuzu this time.

YES! This was great news. Never been to Pittsburgh, looking forward to checking out some of the local breweries while I'm there. I attended both Gilead Fests in Oshkosh and then Migration in Olympia, so this is a must! It sounded like from Adam/Migration's post that 20 Buck Spin had relocated to Pittsburgh.

Ordered both, plus the new Triumvir Foul. If you guys haven't heard their ST, it is really good if you are into a more death metal sound. I think he can come off very blunt and border line rude at times, but I have been ordering from FE for years with no complaints. I had one issue and it was resolved immediately. I'm psyched about the Lluvia and I agree with Burkyburk, if its just a few noisy spots then I'm really not too concerned. It is black metal.

There have been a lot of records that I have liked so far, but nothing has stuck out as an obvious ROTY contender. Vanum - Burning Arrow Krallice - Prelapsarian Lantern - II: Morphosis Craven Idol - The Shackles of Mammon Colour Haze - In Her Garden Grails - Chalice Hymnal Wind In His Hair - Earthwrecker Majeure - Apex The Great Old Ones - EOD: A Tale of Dark Legacy Telekinetic Yeti - Abominable Planning For Burial - Below the House Pallbearer - Heartless I just got the Elder and Mutoid Man records in recently and I haven't had much of a chance to dig into them yet. Really looking forward to the Spectral Voice LP and the new Yellow Eyes, Mutilation Rites and Forn albums from Gilead Media later this year.

I was not quite ready for just how shitty this was going to be. They have never really been breaking any ground, but I have enjoyed all of their albums up until now. Sad.

No worries, but thanks for the rundown. I got to catch Khemmis and Krieg (w/The Body) at Migration also. Definitely would have loved to see Municipal Waste/Pig Destroyer/Falls of Rauros/Sleep. Beer/Brewery line up looked fantastic as well. You are right about Austin. He came off as a very nice and gracious individual. Makes me like and appreciate his music even more.

Any idea what the set list was for Panopticon? I saw them at Migration Fest. Interested to know what else Austin has decided to bring out live. Any other highlights from the Metal/Beer Fest?

I forgot all about their Live at Roadburn album. They were excellent at Migration Fest last summer. Thanks for the reminder - I need to pick that up!
