I remember when "Stylo" came out as a single and I LOVED it.  I was so excited for it after Demon Days because I loved Demon Days so much.  And then when I got it (the CD) when it came out, I listened to it and was pretty disappointed.  Listened to it one or two more times and still only a few songs really stuck out.

Flash forward to just last year when I FINALLY bought Plastic Beach on vinyl and decided to listen again after all that time.  I LOVED it.  I'd put it right up there with all of their other albums.  Well... besides The Fall.  Kind of ashamed to say this, but I've actually never listened to that one.  It's not that I haven't wanted to, I've just never gotten around to it.

It was a joke because people blindly follow their reviews. Highest rated one so it's the best to a lot of people.

I feel like I'm in the severe minority here but, for me, Plastic Beach is their best album.

I kind of want this but I'll never realistically listen to it.

If you haven't gone to any of their recent shows I'd strongly consider checking one out on this upcoming tour. Even though I missed them in the 90s I can tell that they're at their peak right now as far as performance quality and personal enjoyment. Every time I've seen them I've been blown away.

Loving it so far (obviously by my avatar). DTTB is one of the greatest "comeback" records I've ever heard, easily up there with some of the best Whigs stuff. This band has got to be one of the most underrated in existence. Looking forward to the upcoming tour, their shows have been incredible.
