Yup, my time is too valuable, especially now that I have a kid. I was able to get almost everything I wanted pretty close to what I would’ve paid in stores. I’ll pop into a couple of locals soon with my Dad and Sister on a not so busy day and we’ll give them some business then. 

Anyone know how much Malkfunkshun was retailing for?

New record is good, probably my favorite from them since the Big Business guys were in the band.

I like it as well, especially the middle/last half of the album. Could do without the filler tracks but at least they’re not very long.

Wow, some new songs! My introduction to Jakob was when they opened for ISIS on their final tour, feels like a lifetime ago.

Green TTL press arrived yesterday, looks and sounds great.

So a buddy of mine and I saw Head Automatica the other night in Seattle, which was very sparsely attended. I’m not even a fan of the band but my buddy is and he was pretty disappointed by the performance (they only played for an hour and the opening band Foxy Shazam blew them off the stage). Anybody else see this tour? Tickets were $75 and the tour was hardly promoted so I’m not surprised by the small attendance.

Kisses is a catchy track but it sounds too much like something off of the s/t album. Agreed though, if they cut a couple of tracks it would be an amazing EP.

I’m not a huge fan of prayer remembered and its placement as track 2 is kinda odd. I also wish the album was longer but overall I’m enjoying it.  

Anyone get a shipping notification from TTL yet? Not in any hurry, just curious. Album is good, just wish it was longer. 

Silver Platters and Easy Street have a lot of stuff. I 2nd the Zions Gate recommendation for metal, his prices can be high but I’ve made some great deals with him for some killer rare stuff in the past. 

They closed with a new song called “The Fight” in Portland last night. Rest of the set was The Earth is not a Cold Dead Place in full, “The Birth and the Death of Day” and “Yasmin The Light”.  Great show overall, it was an outdoor show on a beautiful summer night and the crowd was very chill.

Picked up the blue vinyl yesterday from a local shop and it sounds great. I slept on this album for too long, what a gem. 

This Syd Barrett box is my first vault purchase. I know this is a preorder but when can I expect these to ship?
