Considering i recently sold my spare copy of their first 7" for $100 this is a pretty good deal.

ATF is still available. That is what is weird to me.

I noticed HT's website says "available on vinyl for the first time in over a decade!", is this true? I got my picture disc like 5 years ago at my local store and they had a huge stack of them. Did i just get lucky? When did that actually get released?

They are numbered /200. But I saw the sticker on the front said it was a tour edition so he may have some at his upcoming shows. Too bad he never comes around Detroit anymore so i won't be getting one.

I enjoy this music as well. Check out "White Ring" and "Unison" if you haven't yet. I wish i would have grabbed some of those early Salem 7"s before they got so damn big.

Not sure what their regular shipping times are but I'm fairly impressed with the in store shipping as I went to the store last Friday afternoon and just picked it up this morning. So 6 days to get it is pretty great considering the long holiday weekend.

I find it hard to believe that he really sold 500 clear copies at $40 each in a matter of days. Especially with little to no promotion. I read on another forum that there were 400 pressed and only 160 sold on his website. 160 is such a random number that I almost believe it. But then where would the rest be sold?

You may still be able to get colored direct from TRL. This is from a recent thread on their forum: "By the way, we always remove the mention of colored vinyl in the description pages of each title when the colored vinyl has officially sold out. There might be a lag of a day here and there, but that's usually the case within 24 hours of sellout." I know those have both been out for a while but they both still mention the colored vinyl in their descriptions. Worth sending them an email as their prices are always great.

I went into my local hot topic in ann arbor, mi and they never got it in but i just used one of those kiosks they have now and only had to pay $1 to have it shipped to the store. they also told me that orders sent to their store are generally processed much faster than orders sent to houses, but we'll see if that is true or not.

I always miss out on the limited things posted directly on his site as well. Is there any sort of mailing list that announces this stuff or do people just check the site every day to see if he's posted something new? I'm always shocked when i find out a couple days late and it's already gone. I've ordered a lot of stuff from AE and the only issue i ever had was with a PJ Harvey preorder that was never released. That took me about 10+ emails and phone calls to have him just give me my $20 back.

i order from their website regularly and i get maybe 25% of the stuff. great stores to go into and browse but shit for web orders.

Since I'm in the states i obviously missed out on this. Anyone have one to sell or know where i might be able to get one?

i assume a lot of these will have damaged covers, but thankfully they are plain. the generic black cover is a good bit larger than the inner sleeve and that left a lot of room for the record to move around. Also Four Tet posted this to their twitter a few days ago so don't pay the extra for it now if you can wait a week or two: "More ego/mirror getting pressed at the moment... hope to have it in the shops soon."

same here. what annoyed me about them is that i paid through paypal and it was "pending" for a few days, then they completed the sale and then emailed me saying that they don't have the record. They should have not completed the transaction until they knew they had it. but i've seen rumors that this was actually limited to thousands of copies (not 300) so hopefully they will get more in.

Same here, but earlier today it was available again to add to your cart (it is not anymore). if they didn't have enough you'd think they would figure out their availability on their website after 5 days.
