I assume they mean "Clear and Red" since the pressing info lists the 2nd run as 1900 clear and 700 red. I have a yellow Benji, a blue one coming, a black Perils, and an extra black April, someone work out a deal with me for a Ghosts!

I also think that if they repressed it they would have gone with a different color since they have always done a good job at mixing things up color wise.

It's not like the entire pressing is web only. What's wrong with supporting indie stores and doing online sales for a variant? Seems reasonable enough. They could just release the album a week before/later and only do it online if they didn't care about the stores at all.

I'm sure you'll be fine, but the order #s aren't Benji specific so it's not like there are 280 extra copies of Benji after yours.

They have a link directing people to midheaven.com for the standard one. I'm guessing they will keep that one in print since the demand is obviously there. They repressed Unnatural World a few times already I think.

I only found out about HANL when Unnatural World came out so I'm very excited to be able to get this on vinyl for a good price. I know this is off topic but are there any other standout artists/releases on Flesner that I just have to check out?

My Amazon order finally shipped today, delivered tomorrow.

3000 of the regular colored vinyl, and then 500 of the gold. So 3500 total. Seems like a ton to press to me for a $40+ record.

I have their entire vinyl collection except for Great Annihilator and Public Castration. I was pretty patient over the past 10+ years and most cost me $25 and under from random record shop scores and lucky ebay snipes. Most I paid was around $75 for a mint copy of Love of Life with the box maybe 7 years ago. My copy of White Light cost me $25 because the records are great but the cover is pretty trashed. But they were all bought before Gira decided to start recording/touring again which caused a lot of hype and pushed the prices up. Soundtracks would be amazing! I wish he's skip Filth which they've pressed more than once and go with something else. I'd love to get the Annihilator but I'm not ever paying $200 for it. I wonder if Invisible Records has any of the rights for that at all anymore? I'm guessing not or else Martin Atkins would have released it and not given Gira any $$ for it like he does with everyone else.

I got to the final Paypal confirm payment screen and then it told me it was no longer available. I think they need to work on their shopping cart system.

Other than the SKM and Eluvium EP's that never actually happened were there other errors? It looks like they removed those finally so maybe they got their shit together.

You will rarely if ever find me complaining in other threads but I was bitching in this case because A) they were absolutely raping people on shipping, and B ) they told me they shipped my box, then 5 days later the tracking # wasn't updated. They then told me not to worry and assured me it was on it's way. And then another 5 days later they said "oops we never sent that out to you even though you brought it to our attention and we told you not to worry. But we'll keep your $130 if you want even though we have no idea when the second round will actually be available". No thanks! I'm sure they knew that had X amount of stock, and x amount of orders. It should have been a red flag when all of a sudden they had extra boxes available for people who were back ordered when numerous people were contacting them about their tracking #s not updating. So they are hit & miss with customer service. But it's very cool they are replacing all of the screwed up records. Although they should be providing free return shipping for the web orders since they more than made up for it initially.

They told me today that as far as they know the 2nd press will be the same as the first, but that they have no ETA for when it will be available and to just keep an eye out on the Cake mailing list like last time for info.

I just emailed them and got the exact same response back about the label never printing. I also asked them a week ago if i should be concerned that my tracking info hadn't updated and they assured me it wasn't a problem. I'm probably just going to cancel mine and pick it up somewhere else at some point.

I don't know where it was ever actually for sale but yeah I've seen that one and one other online. Never saw or heard of it existing in any retail/online shops though.

If it is anything like Among the Leaves good luck finding it. I think they did 300 of those on black after the colored edition sold out on the website. It's unfortunate as this deserved a much larger vinyl release when it came out.

Well that explains it. $1.50 worth of box, bubblewrap, and tape = a $20 markup over actual costs and lying about why they have a $20 markup? They only charge $7 to ship a regular LP which is only a couple bucks over the actual shipping costs. So that explanation just doesn't cut it. Every single person who ordered it should have received a mint box. And if anyone chooses to return them because of damage etc they won't have to refund that extra $20 they pocketed from shipping like they would have if it was included in the box price. $135 is still a decent price for an item like this so you wouldn't have heard a peep out of me if they didn't straight up lie about it.
