There is actually 20k of the TS 7" (10k US / 10k ROW) although knowing flippers the price still won't drop too much. Rough Trade UK were tweeting that their Bristol store still had 80 copies of it at as of 5pm so they must have got a ton of them!

Any leads on a UK store that does online leftovers? Specifically looking for the UK version of The Rentals - Midnight Society.
UK stores don't do online until Friday 29th. I wouldn't expect too many to still have it in by then (I know Resident sold out of it quickly when I was there - one of the first things to go)

Yep it's back to the usual rules

I’d much prefer it if they had done this as another 4LP set with a new cut of the OG, the 2 ‘Secret History’ records, and the cassette tracks cut to vinyl. I get that the option they went with will rake in more cash though.
Doesn't seem there would be much point in doing a 4LP set with these cassette as the 4th disc, it sounds like its just the same versions of the songs as on the finished LP but just the different order and under some different titles. Save the expensive much needed 4LP treatment for CRCR & TW.

Glad I've already got the Newbury Comics Red/White split version so can skip this, been an expensive day!

double yellow & double black vinyl - doesn't look to be a fancy special edition as with most Radiohead related releases (my bank balance says thank god!)

Resident has it listed in the UK along with a clear breakdown of what's on each disc for both 11 & 7 disc versions

1st time since I started going to RSD that I won't be queuing up overnight.
Only after Wire, Commander Venus & Frankie and the Witch Fingers as must haves from this April drop and then Blondie & one of the Bowie EPs as possible pick ups.
June: Prince, Super Furry Animals & Billy Bragg.

I’ve felt that way about their prices in general for a lot of their stock, especially over the last couple of years. Notably for imports, yeah.
Is Norman even cheaper than the Ride webstore? I guess if you buy all 3 and opt for untracked shipping, it could break down a bit bettter. Norman has better sticker prices but the Ride shop had better shipping, I remember thinking they were sort of comparable.
Even here in the UK RT is usually a couple of £ more expensive than everywhere else on most releases (their total UK sticker price on these 3 Ride releases is £8 higher than Norman & £6 higher than Resident).
I've never had any problems with orders from the UK store that the NYC store seems notorious for though so I still order from them when I have to. Exclusives mainly or taking advantage of their no charge till shipping policy to lock in a preorder if I'm light on cash till payday!
Got the Ride releases on order from Resident with local pick up.

I can understand buying a bootleg of something not available on vinyl if its cheap, but spending any decent amount money for one just seems odd

So. I want to jump in for the Vault release for Sleep. But I can't decide if to go with the Quarterly or Annual sub. Any thoughts and/or advice?
Guess it depends on how much you love the White Stripes/JB as out of an annual sub it's almost certain that at least 2 of them will be something from them. Out of 6 packages before Sleep there have been 3 WS, 1 JB plus Bob Dylan & Carole King sets.
With the 2JB lps dropped in quick succession it's a good bet one of the next 3 will be some kind of live set based off the current tour.
Possible that there could be a Prince release based around the Camille LP they've confirmed they will be releasing (although that might just come out outside the vault).

It's my fucking dream to have all 5 albums in this format
Probably wouldn't go for S&E given the secret history covers almost all the extras but CRCR & WZ for sure!

Picked up the boxset yesterday, glad they ditched the book format that was used for the BTC deluxe.
Am liking the revised Nigel Godrich track listing for TT over the original.

Box set drops tomorrow exclusive to XL Store, Arca Store & Bleep

Uhhh, Pretty sure this isn’t an all acoustic release
Yeah certainly isn't all acoustic, in fact none of it might be!

Hated pressing the purchase button on it but it was the one I've been waiting on. $138 shipped to the UK for the non-signed version

I put in the cart a double lp to see the shipping cost...
Yeah its coming up as $62 for me as well, and that's for 'economy international'! It'd be one thing if they were only doing some sort of super quick and signed service for that but bog standard shipping should be half that at the very most (and still a rip off at that!)

Whoa... shipping to my country is $62. That's insane 😱
Where do you see costs? I can't see anything up there yet

I believe that the theory is that as distance for people to travel to a store in the UK is a lot less than other countries they wanted the extra week to continue to bring people in to the stores. I'm assuming it works otherwise they'd probably have changed it (aside from the COVID years!). Previously some stores had a long line on Sunday as well!
I think they'll be plenty of places with Suede left though.
