  1. Are you going to the reunion show? No. The closest one to me Cincinnati, which is 4+ hours away, and it's on a Thursday night. Just can't do it.
  2. Catchphrase. That game is the bomb.com.
  3. There is some seriously awesome shit in those Asian Man 25 for 25 boxes! I recommend you guys to spin those Rudiments and Slow Gherkin CDs ASAP -- also, that Ee CD, "For 100 We Try Harder," is pretty sweet, too.
  4. I found the None More Black 7-inch for $2 at Reckless in Chicago when I was there in July. The next day, one went for $56 on eBay. Booyah!
  5. Sorry man, I only bought one -- and I'll get pictures of those AM! 7-inches tomorrow, the batteries on my digital camera were dead but I got fresh ones in for the show. As for the setlist, I have one word for you: "Impact." Here's the album breakdown, if I recall correctly: Crime - Impact RAR - Pints Of Guinness Make You Strong, Baby I'm An Anarchist, Walking Is Still Honest Eternal Cowboy - Cliche Guevara, Sink Florida Sink, Rice + Bread SFAFC - Unprotected Sex With Multiple Partners, From Her Lips To God's Ears (The Energizer), Pretty Girls (The Mover), Problems, Don't Lose Touch New Wave - New Wave, Thrash Unreal, White People For Peace, Stop, Borne On The FM Waves, Americans Abroad, Ocean The encore was "Impact" and "Baby I'm An Anarchist." It was something else.
  6. I saw Against Me! tonight and they had a brand new 12" for "White People For Peace" available -- album version on side A, Butch Vig remix on side B. Comes in a plain black DJ sleeve. Limited to 1000, I think? There was a sign at the merch table saying that, if I recall correctly. Only $5. Pretty sweet, so I snagged one. Also, they were selling the "Thrash Unreal" 7-inch on red for only $3 a pop. Definitely grabbed one of those, too.
  7. I am no longer a god. And the sadness prevails.
  8. The problem with reunion shows is every band thinks they're worthy of doing them.
  9. In The Valley Of Dying Stars was pressed on vinyl and is still available here for $10: http://www.arenarockrecordingco.com/bands/superdrag/ (Click on the album cover)
  10. 1. Head Trip In Every Key 2. Regretfully Yours 3. In The Valley Of Dying Stars 4. Last Call For Vitriol To be honest, the top three could all rotate any number of ways because they're all strong in their own ways. LCFV, however, is their weakest effort, if you ask me -- although it does have one of the band's finest songs, "Way Down Here Without You."
  11. Honestly? That was a last-last-last minute decision. There were five bands we were all debating about for that month's cover, none of which we could all agree on. Then all of the sudden, someone threw out the idea of doing a "side projects" issue and have a split cover between those two bands, and we all got behind it and bam! There it was.
  12. Oh god, let's please keep the Against Me! preaching off this board. We don't want to become the Punknews comments section (or worse, the Plan It X board). Some people like Against Me!. Some people hold grudges against Against Me!. The end.
  13. The Thursday release, on the other hand, is apparently turning out INCREDIBLE, according to a friend at Victory. Like, really, really, really badass. And apparently the new songs are sick, too.
  14. Semi-on topic: HEY RAT PATROL RECORDS, WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT CHUCK RAGAN 7" I PRE-ORDERED TWO MONTHS AGO??
  15. Didn't someone from this band die last year? Their guitar player or something?
  16. Man, have you ever had any fun in your entire life? Just kidding, I drink, but I don't to do so to have fun. I'd rather spend money on music than booze.
  17. I can't keep a secret worth a damn -- ETID are on our cover next month. Don't tell anyone. And holy shit, the photos are EPIC. That's all I can say right now.
  18. For anyone still on the fence about pre-ordering this, Foreign Leisure (Dan from Maritime's label) just posted their own pre-order for the LP -- but they're charging $15 to Virgil's $11.99. Booyah!
  19. That's how I felt after listening to the new repress earlier this summer. It's such a solid album, it's too bad they couldn't have done another one with John Nolan. It'll be interesting to see the tracklisting for the new Victory b-side release, I'm just hoping it's not all the songs that have been floating around since the file sharing program days. - Jeff Unfortunately, it's just a "greatest hits" package with "The Ballad of Sal Villanueva" and "Your Own Disaster" tacked on.
  20. If you look on the Jade tree message boards, there's an oldish thread that has a bunch of pressing info listed by JT staffers (it's not 1005 accurate, though, but it'll give you a head start).
  21. It's not coming out on Victory (never was). And it's been delayed till Feb '08.
  22. The Easter Egg of Keith doing stand-up comedy is worth the price of the DVD.
  23. 25. Never smoked, drank or consumed illegal drugs.
