  1. Totally hit or miss especially with TT's and amps. I did score my Paradigm 7SE speakers at a local thrift store for 10 bucks. Not bad for Canadian made speakers from 1988 that retailed for 500 bucks when new. This was back in 08 and I still use them daily.
  2. I have 2 of those single ones, and 10 of the double ones and they have been great. Been using them since around 07/08 and no issues at all through the years, and before I expanded from 6 to 10 I had them PACKED and with equipment on top and no signs of sagging. I never went more than 3 high, and at 3 it's rock solid. Actually I think I have some old pics, setup is in shambles right now or else I'd take a new one. This is 6 of these stacked 3 high: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=foremost+divided+cube&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aforemost+divided+cube
  3. Snow's awesome what are you guys talking about? Ah shit wrong snow, I'll be leaving. Mislead by the thread title once again.
  4. Ha! Forgot all about that little game. Just fired it up for the first time in like 2 months. Same stuff except one more upgrade which I purchased. Left it off making $30,638,236,405,480 per second
  5. Just saw it tonight, lots of laughs but it didn't feel "done". Seemed like it was thrown together and with WAY to much Brick. He is part of what made the first movie so good, he said so little that everything he did say was just gold, here was just too much. All the jokes seemed forced, like they tried too hard. I'll catch it again at the Redbox or something down the road. Could become one of those better the second time around movies. But like someone said above it had HUGE shoes to fill.
  6. Check kabusa.com and compare them to other places. Great store, Kevin is a great guy that runs that store. It's basically strictly 1200's.
  7. Hard Reset, grabbed it during the steam sale. Downloaded the demo real quick played for about 15 minutes and knew it'd be fun for $2.24. Got about a hour in and enjoying the hell out of it so far.
  8. My thoughts exactly, how is that even possible??!?!?!?!?
  9. If you don't want a code reader, most stores (Auto-Zone, Pep Boys, etc) will scan it for free, then just write down the code and google the shit out of it. Hang on to that 4.0l man, seriously one of the best engines every produced. Sure they drink gas like its going out of style but they take a beating. I like the 3.6 in my Wrangler, but that 4.0 is just bulletproof.
  10. And those 4.0 liter Jeeps are super easy to work on. A blind midget could replace a exhaust manifold on one of those. Coming from a fellow Jeep owner. I've been lucky and never ran into douche bag mechanics. I've either always done it myself or take it to a guy I know personally that won't screw me over.
  11. I use these outer sleeves: http://www.sleevecityusa.com/ultimate-outer-2-5-pack-of-50-p/9224.htm and these inners: http://www.sleevecityusa.com/Mobile-Fidelity-Master-Sleeves-50-Pack-p/312nmofi.htm
  12. I don't really notice this off newer albums too much. But older bands nailed it. Billy Joel -- Captain Jack (off Piano Man) Boston -- Let Me Take You Home Tonight (off self titled) YES -- Hearts (off 90125) Genesis -- AIsle Of Plenty (off Selling England By The Pound) seriously one of my all time favorite albums
  13. Game is a riot! Was replaying the shit out of that earlier this year. Had a friend who played and we both downloaded the same 3rd party maps and man, that brought the game to a new level. But for OG maps Hard Rain was my fav, so many witches!!! One of us always had to be Nick too just for his catch phrases. As for myself, I've been playing Dirt 2 lately. Just picked it up not too long ago during a Steam sale and just getting to it now. I like it WAY better than 3.
  14. Sounds about the best way to lose it. At least a more real world way vs. banging 2-3 broads at the same time.
  15. Had a 2M blue for a couple years, was a great cart. Live above it does pick up every speck of dust or hairline scratch and make sure you heard it. I found it to sound better on more mellow quiet albums vs. punk/rock/metal, but that could be a personal preference and components used making the difference. When time came to replace that stylus I could either swap it out for a replacement or try something different. Since there are nearly a infinite options I opted to try something new and now I'm running the Ortofon OM20. 2M blue was a great tracker and handled inner grooves very well, and I got well over 1k hours on it. I only replaced it since I noticed the cantilever was bent a little, no clue what caused that.
  16. Cunt is far superior, just a stronger more direct word and also doubles as a term for a vagina. Keep it with cunt, leave the bitches at the pound!
  17. There once was a man from Nantucket Who's dick was so long he could suck it and he said with a grin as he wiped of his chin if my ear were a cunt, I would fuck it. A true classic right there.
  18. Johnny Cash? He died a little over 10 years ago. And his version of Hurt is way better then NIN's.
  19. This! I had that table and it was pure garbage. First impression is how light it is, seriously a 1 hander. I was wondering why the sound was all wonky every time I played it. Took out my trusty scale and every time I weighed the stylus it would be different, 2 grams, 5 grams, 7 grams, back to 3, etc. Returned it 2 days after I bought it. Plus it doesn't even come with a dust cover!! Was a good learning experience, I'm glad it was pure shit or else I wouldn't have upgraded to a real TT, or at least not as soon. 50 bucks can get you MUCH better in the used/vintage market.
  20. Just picked this game up on the Steam sale for 10 beans.
  21. Still waiting for the second half to hit netflix!!!
