Not vinyl, but my new label BLUDHONEY is opening with the release of Disasterpeace's "Hyper Light Drifter" soundtrack on a double cassette bundle limited to 150 tomorrow at 12PM EST on bandcamp.
I'm not a cassette guy but this cover looks awesome. Reminds me a lot of the opening scene of The Secret of Monkey Island.

I received the AOF record today in Germany. While the wait was absurdly long I have to say I'm really amazed by how this turned out. The weight, quality, detail, bonus items... it's all just great! The only downside: none of my protective sleeves are big enough for this beast, haha.
I'm also selling the moneen records (LP and 7"). I'm looking to just get back a fair cut of the original bundle cost. Anybody interested?

So how much quality can you lose from a double LP to a single and what do you think the likelihood of them repressing them separately in the future are? I'm like, into anberlin enough that in the future I would want this but like, broke enough now that I'm unsure.
Oh, I didn't see that it's pretty much confirmed to be a set of single LPs . Ignore my previous comment then, haha.

Don't own a single album of theirs on vinyl, so this is an obvious buy for me. Jus skeptical on quality considering each album is more than likely a single LP version. Aww who cares, here Anberlin take my money now...
The original pressings of Cities and New Surrender are double LPs

Please update when you get it! I've been holding off on the Amazon.ca listing at $62CAD in hopes it would drop but it appears stock everywhere is disappearing, and some distributors are still showing a later release date.
This is a can't miss repress for me, so I'm hoping the quality is there.
I got it sometime last month and can say that the quality definitely is there. The records sound very clean, the packaging is very well made (sturdy printed inner sleeves). Overall it's very much worth the price I paid (a bit under 30€).
Have you tried looking at Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de? Sometimes the records are actually cheaper that way including shipping than if you'd "import" them through your local amazon.

As the title says I'm looking for the LP "Nothing Exists But Atoms And The Void" by Spaces. Can anybody help me out with this one?

As I mentioned before, I do have some titles in the pipeline and they're coming along nicely. But if you (any of you) have anything that you'd like to see happen, I'm always happy to try and speak to the people involved and see what we can do. This is a really exciting project and I'm just getting started!
Now, I have no idea how big the demand is or how well it would be received by the collectors but what I'm really missing among the old video game soundtracks which are being pressed are: any of the old early-90s LucasArts games! I'm thinking something along the lines of Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, the Dig, etc...

it's awesome that they packaged the inner sleeves inbetween the gatefold instead of inside the "pockets", by the way - no seam splits on the cover even if the record gets shipped around half of the world.
-
also nothing for me yet but what are a couple more days.
-
If a tour press is happening I'd also love to get in line for one copy sent to Germany
-
Just like Sasan... I'll also be glad to help out anybody who needs help ordering the record worldwide. At cost.

Yo people from Germany....got yours?
Still nothing here (not even from customs)!
what does the tracking information say? i think i used the cheapest shipping option ($20 or so) and they gave me the usual USPS tracking number. it even got updated up to the customs office.

For the customs notification? I got my letter today. Yay, senseless expenses!Still waiting... :/
-
So I just got a shipping notification. That was surprisingly early.

Thank you for the message.
Yes I have error logging, but it's not always that I get it. But I did get the one from when you tried it, and it's from 1.4.1-1 (You can only see that it's 1.4.1, but the last is a 'hidden' internal version number). I actually released a updated version an hour after I released that version (1.4.1-2) that should fix that problem, but I guess Google hasn't sent it out yet.
Thanks again for the help.
Ha, indeed that error seems to be fixed now! Thanks

I finished adding this functionality now and it'll be included in the next version of the app (1.4.2). Keep an eye out for it and let me know what you think.
Thanks!
I just sent you a pm with details on the crash I've encountered. I originally thought of automatic crash reports that can be sent from the app directly to you including details on the error and the device specs. I'm sure the app creates some sort of log files?
-
thanks for the continuous updates. i've been using the app to update my collection recently and it's been a great help.
three more suggestions:
1) when searching for a release it would be helpful to have a "C" displayed next to the master release if the record is in one's collection already (just as it is the case when browsing the master releases of an artist outside of the search function)
2) can you make adding two copies of one release into the collection possible? that use case probably doesn't happen that often but i had to jump over to the website twice because i had two copies of one release.
3) would bug/crash reports be helpful for you? i've had the app crash on me a few times. i'm not sure why, though. the app just froze (the notification bar was still active)... it looked a little like there was not enough memory to process.

Yes it's amazing. He is such a unique composer.
He has some works called "playing the piano" and they are really amazing.
while youre at it also check out the latest "playing the orchestra" (as you can guess orchestrated versions of the tunes), "out of noise" (regular album, a slight bit on his experimental side) and "bttb" (regular album, piano-heavy). but now enough of hijacking the mondo thread... sakamoto deserves an own thread

Wasn't aware of a black for The Revenant? Milan usually only does 1 pressing... Hope my Amazon order is on colored
i was also a little surprised and bummed. the colored one is pretty expensive here in germany.
the discogs listing (there seems to be only one so far) has a picture of the black one https://www.discogs.com/Ryuichi-Sakamoto-Alva-Noto-Bryce-Dessner-The-Revenant-Original-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/release/8086545

Is The Revenant only on colored vinyl? Or is there a black variant too?
there's also a black one

I've been trying out the app for a couple of days now and just removed the ads - you've done some great work! Very intuitive and easy to use.
One quick suggestion: it would be great if one could select more than one message to mark them as read, delete them, etc.
-
Still nothing! International dudes: Was yours sent via registered post?
there was the usual customs number or however it is called. that would make it possible to track it through USPS at least until the border of the US if i recall correctly.
-
You could get a EU person to order it for you and forward it. Would come out to somewhere between 60 to 65€ if you do it through Germany, I think.Anyone have any tips on how to order the Chromo Trigger Vinyl from the square EU site to the US?

Just like cside said above me Canadian post can take ages. I had some packages where I waited for about 2 months. I was actually pleasantly surprised that the AOF record showed up relatively "quick". I'd just wait some more in your case. You can also always contact Dine Alone. Maybe they have some sort of tracking/customs number.
