  1. I recently purchased a couple of Elevator LPs for relatively cheap, non-eBay prices: http://www.subpop.com/releases/elevator_through/full_lengths/vague_premonition http://www.teenageusarecordings.com/catalogue.html
  2. Anyone need the Elevator - Live LP? It's numbered out of 500...
  3. http://www.laventure.net/tourist/montreal.htm Depends what you're looking for. My faves are Phonopolis, Cheap Thrills, and Aux 33. Beatnicks and Primitive are okay too. There are a few stores not covered here that are worth mentioning: Paul's Boutique, Soundcentral and one on Duluth and Berri that I can never remember the name of. That should keep you busy - most of the others aren't worth the time or are shut down.
  4. I wish I could remember, but there is a street that has a couple of good stores on it within a block of each other.
  5. You could also go for the represses on 12" - might save you a lot of money.
  6. This site is helpful: http://www.turbojugendusa.com/turbo_disc/disc_lp.html But in your case, not really: It has no number for that particular variant.
  7. Looking for vinyl put out on Man's Ruin. I've got a couple of albums and am looking for anything I don't have, which is mostly everything they put out. Anyway, just looking to pick up some stoner rock vinyl for not a lot of do-re-mi. Send messages with what you are looking to get $wise.
  8. Sometimes you wake up on the side of the bed where you don't feel like trying to explain something ridiculous and complex to someone who doesn't speak the same language as you. Ugh, nevermind.
  9. In Canada, when you aren't home the mail man leaves a slip of paper for you to come pick up the package. Hence, the package, seen for a fleeting moment, is now gone. I also suspect I live next door to angry Quebecois. This would not bode well for me.
  10. Yeah, maybe they just got a few random ones in an order. In any case, it said mine shipped already. Stoked!
  11. I got a restock notice from Interpunk. If anyone is interested in picking this up on vinyl now is a good time - this goes for $45+ on eBay. http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=150475&
  12. So, I won this item through an Insound contest a while back. This weekend I went to my hometown and stumbled across this - an autographed Saddle Creek poster featuring members (and ex-members) of Cursive, circa "Ugly Organ". I am looking mostly for interesting/boring trades for this. Since I paid nothing for this I'm not expecting a lot back, so I could be open to cash offers as well. Shipping will be exact price and will be mailed in a sturdy cardboard penis-like tube, stuffed into your vag-esque mailbox. Win win! Need to know anything else please don't hesitate to ask.
  13. Had an awesome day visiting my hometown: Grade - Under The Radar - blue clear vinyl with a black streak Bad Religion - Against The Grain Stoked!
  14. While we're talking about them, does anyone know what the physical (non-audio) differences are between the In Utero Albini-mix and non-Albini-mix? I just read this on eBay : "Extremely rare Steve Albini mix. In 2003 Universal repressed In Utero. When they went to get the master tapes they mistakenly grabbed the original mix done by Steve Albini. It has subtle differences and overall sounds less radio-friendly."
  15. For some reason I don't think there were a lot of these around - I feel lucky that I nabbed them both for cheap, though. Have you heard the new Architects vinyl? Any good?
  16. NOFX - Punk in Drublic Foo Fighters - s/t Both new and cheap! Time to dance like it's 1994 all over again!
  17. I can't decide between this and the fact that their lyrics have also been getting consistently better as well. I agree that the songs aren't as memorable - especially in terms of the audience singing along live. But they are definitely more readable. I suspect this may be on purpose. But, like a baby's head, I'll always have a soft spot for this band.
  18. Damn. I just realized I traded with Ronniethebear and I never got my shit. Fuck, way to reopen that wound.
  19. JR Ewing - Ride Paranoia - 12" on gray marble vinyl. Might be up for a trade if I'm not into it.
  20. If you can find them where you live, definitely check out Traynor. They made awesome bass and guitar cabs and heads. They are definitely a hot item in Canada. And you can still find them for $100-500. http://www.informatik.uni-bremen.de/~dace/vb/ I recently moved across the country and didn't bring my Traynor cab for obvious reasons. But I'm having so much trouble finding one at a decent price and, having joined a new band, I decided to eat the cost of flying back to bring it with me. Yup, that's how much I love that old cabinet. Also, Garnet amps are kind of cool. They were handmade amps from Winnipeg, MB. They tend to be a little more iffy but nonetheless a good find.
  21. I have Goatsnake - Flower of Disease and it is pretty awesome and hilarious - as good stoner metal should be.
