I agree if it was a purchase, however, it was an investment - at minimum, everyone should have got what they put in, if not a portion of the profits.

Before VC, he ran a somewhat successful record label, Suburban Home, that put out some great stuff. On the initial vinyl boom he moved to the forefront of pressing vinyl for labels that didn't have the money or see the need. He created a co-op, Vinyl Collective, to release record voted upon by members - there were a handful of releases, The Falcon, This Charming Man, Jealous Sound, but when it came to press the next LP...crickets. He seemingly took the money made from these releases, all of which were pretty successful, if not very successful, and likely recouped cost +. Some folks got refunds, most got nothing and he made money on the investment of board members.

After like 5 days of trying to cancel my initial order of Deviations so I could save on shipping for them both, I said fuck it and just ordered it separately.  Trying to get shit resolved with Firebrand is impossible.

Agreed. I had a second order of Deviations happen by mistake during the initial rush to order and haven't heard back about how to handle it.  Not a huge thing and I'm sure they're just swamped, but even a form email would be great.

I believe that was to fulfill a contract issue and they ended up winning the dispute without having to present a final release.

I was able to try some test batch Goose stuff in a similar fashion...as well as Bud Platinum before release. I'm a lucky guy, haha.

InBev uses those on R&D beers. Reps will usually take them into the market for accounts to try to get a feel for what people think of them.

I got my package a while ago, but just opened yesterday - what an amazingly thoughtful and giving person @curator is! I'll share the picture later, but he really nailed it...so much so that I used the Alamo Drafthouse giftcard last night for 'Rogue One'. 

Did you get refunded for this years ago? If so, you should mail them a check out of nowhere.

Went to see 'Gremlins' last night at Alamo, went to pick up my tiki mug and was told they'd been delayed to the 16th. Pretty funny that even the Alamo/Mondo theater collabs get delayed without warning.
