My GTAV Box set from CCmusic should be here Thursday. Plus another order I place for x-mas presents. I had no trouble with the previous order I placed.

I had a TT15s1 and a Scout together at my house for a week. I used the same cartridge on both and went back and forth. Even had some friends over for their opinions. The Marantz/Clearaudio TT15s1 was significantly better than the Scout in both high and low end extension and was much more exciting to listen to. Better built quality as well. I kept the TT15, it's a great table.

Got my order and it's mostly good. STP Tiny Music said it was the import on blue vinyl, I got black and my Beatles box came perfect with the exception of a warp in Sgt. Peppers.

I guess I should have commented on my original statement about the original press. Sorry about that. This may get nerdy. The original press doesn't sound bad. It's cut really hot. Depending on the cartridge you are using it can be sibilant on cymbals, the "sss" vocal sounds clip and sometimes guitars can get crackly. I have three close friends with original presses. Two blues and an orange. I've heard the album many times on three different systems. All three systems, including mine, have been on a steady upgrade path. With each increase in quality of cartridge and stylus, the recording gets better. Higher end distortion is handled better and is more tolerable. I've directly compared the original with the repress. The original is "louder" if that's what you are into. The remaster is respectable though. A rip of a record available online could be done through a ten thousand dollar turntable and cartridge setup and you wouldn't know. Obviously that will sound better than a cheapie cartridge.

I got mine and although it came in great shape and no problems with shipping, I disagree on the sound. It was clearly cut from a poor source or by a bad engineer. There's no depth. Flat and lifeless. The digital version through my nice DAC blows the vinyl away. Unfortunate.

Yeah, very happy with the package and the vinyl color is cool. I'm a little luke warm on the album so far, but it's good. Need a couple more listens.

I just checked and it's $99. I'm dumbfounded that they raised there own exclusive to match ebay prices. Seems crazy, couldn't they just press more? I'm a little skeptical about the whole thing. The listing has no photo or information. My tracking says it should arrive Thursday. I'll let you know what I get.

I have an original blue press. I can tell you from experience that if you didn't care for the recent re-press you shouldn't waste your time and money looking for an original.

Yeah I was thinking a hot pink and cyan blue wax would be cool. I'm just amazed it's getting pressed.

I'm not sure they are making profit on shipping. They just aren't offering media mail. UPS ground or USPS three day select are the cheapest options. At least the lp is only $15.

They got me! Goddamn, seriously i'm friggin' going to be broke if this keeps up. So many records coming out.

All these bootlegs from vinyl-digital.com are of questionable quality. I'm not talking shit as i've bought the Channel Orange and Kanye Graduation and Yeezus. Channel Orange sounds ok. The vinyl I got had a slight crack in the edge and the edges are very sharp. Seam splits abound. The Kanye graduation album is cut horribly, sounds like shit and mine skipped in a couple places. After contacting vinyl-digital.com I was told there was nothing they could do. The Yeezus was ok, but still, all three of these titles digitally, through my good DAC are better than these bootlegs.

Yeah, gonna need more information before I buy this. Not excited about $50 either.

Slipknot sounded like shit. Over compressed distorted Rubin production. Opeth sounds awesome. The sun records comp was actually really cool.

I ordered this from amoeba early this morning. It was $39.99 shipped. A few minutes later I went back to see what else they had and the order button switched to pre-order on the childish record. Not sure what's up with that but I'll probably email them tomorrow to make sure I'm getting a copy.

Yeah, I want a copy in case anyone grabbed an extra. They were everywhere but my store didn't get one.

I believe Snow is closer to 12", maybe a 12" single, lol
