Hey All, Just recently I finally upgraded to a Pro-ject Carbon turntable. I find though when I put records on when I'm just fumbling around the house or cleaning that I forget to turn off the table and I've left it spinning for hours since I've become so used to auto-return. Anyone ever do this and what have you done to prevent it? Right now I have a small sticker on the plinth so that I can see when it is rotating.

Do you have the live albums or the self titled 10"?

Does anyone know how to make record bowls without any folds or ripples? I can find images but no instructions.

Did you come to a solution? I just lost a needle on a crappy backup optimus lab 100 but might as well see if there was any chance of improving it

Recently at a friends I noticed he store all his vinyl in the sleeve but out side the jacket to protect against 'ring wear' over time on the jacket. Does anyone else do this? Is there any disadvantage to doing this?

Thank you for enlightening me in such a kind and humble manner. Really appreciate it, friend. I had the table somewhere else before and decided to put it on top off the amp to save space. Haven't heard or 'felt' a difference what so ever. It's less than a cheap amp, it's a free amp. Pleased as shit to take it. Sounds fine, no audible hum, hasn't distorted sound quality. Once I drop a few grand on an amp up to your standards I'll be sure to PM you pictures so you can know you've made some positive impact in the world. Thumbs up!

The last repress of Nofx - White Trash Two Heebs and a bean (purple vinyl) The pressing is bad and it constantly skips throughout both sides. I contacted Epitaph and they told me they had many reports of bad versions of this. They hooked me up with a choice of any other LP so that was cool!

Custom made it out of aluminum so it only weighs about 14 ounces. Do these make a big difference in sound? Is it for better bass response or vibration dampening?
