Grog Shop is sweet. Haven't been to Peabody's in a really long time, but I always liked that place because of how small it is. No one I like ever plays there anymore though. You may want to check out this fest that's happening in June. I just heard about this. Not sure of all of these bands playing but there may be something you like. It's called the Weapons of Mass Creation Fest. http://wmcfest.com/ ***However I just noticed that the Indians are out of town that weekend. Maybe you could check out a minor league game?? We actually have some really good minor league venues around here. Good promotions/food/nice looking stadiums. I'm sure your talking about the seeing the Indians though. Anyways, Progressive Field is such a nice looking ball park. Hopefully the Tribe can give you a good game. Those a-holes sure screwed the game up today. I've been a casual listener of Grails so far, but have loved what I've heard from them. What is their essential album up until this point? Also, I finally got my Caspian - Tertia copies the other day. Holy shit that's a good album.

That Euro tour poster is sexy. (speaking of sounding gay) But I don't buy tour posters unless I was at a show on that tour. So hopefully if they do a full US tour and play around me again, they have something similar to that. Also, I vowed to not become a variant collector of any band. Due to money conflicts. But this band is forcing me to want everything of theirs. Now I regret not ordering the 1st press Ultra Clear/Blood Red. I'll own the yellow and tour press, and that's it. Also, still no bites on Above the Earth yet. I'm thinking I'd trade the Red Forest tour press for a S/T tour press also if anyone has that.

I highly recommend the Boom! & Zoom! EPs as well. The acoustic stuff on Boom! sounds REALLY good. And Zoom! has some live acoustic stuff. The LP is honestly one of the best sounding records I own. Props to Sinking Ships records for that. This band needs to blow up. They came to Akron last year & it was me, my wife, & like a group of 4 teenie bopper girls. Not gonna lie I felt weird but this band is so good it was worth it, despite the really short set.

I was at the Red Forest CD release show in Akron a couple weeks ago and was able to order an extra copy of the tour press. I dont have it yet but they should be shipping out soon. Ideally I would like to trade it for a tour copy of Above the Earth, Below the Sky if anyone has a copy they're willing to part with. Just trying to see if there are any suitors out there. If no one has a tour press they wanna trade, Id trade for a regular copy. If you're one of those I said I would straight up sell this to if I can't trade, I havent forgotten the order so Ill be in touch if no one comes through with a trade.

My Mind's Eye in Lakewood, Oh. Hope to God they at least get the Refused & Crosses records. & the Michael Buble 7". Yeah I said it. My wife is stoked for those 80s movie soundtracks which I agree would be cool. Anyone else have any good Northeast Ohio suggestions? Im from the Kent/Streetsboro area but the record stores in Kent blow big time.
