  1. That's a straight up boot. I used to stock the same copy, but the yellow/grey colored vinyl pressing is much better quality.
  2. I've been selling records for 15 years, my partner for nearly 40, and we send out over 1000 packages per month with at least 40% going overseas. On an average year we lose no more than 1-3 packages per year. Most that are thought lost end up back at our door (this usually takes 6 weeks). Generally sellers won't ship to Italy or the Middle East, but we ship everywhere. Our general rule of thumb is parcels with a value over $100 must be sent Priority or Express Mail (we haven't lost one of those ever). Paypal started accepting the customs form number as tracking a couple years ago, but unfortunately that number only proves the parcel was mailed and does not show the parcel as delivered. There for Paypal will side with the buyer every single time as there's no proof of delivery. I personally lose no sleep over a lost $20 parcel, but can understand where this would be a big deal to others, and would suggest using Priority Flat rate whenever possible. Hope that helps.
  3. The look of the table should be the last thing you're concerned with. It should function well first. There's far too many great used tables on Ebay that can be purchased for well under $100 to bother purchasing a new one or (as others have stated) check garage sales, flea markets, thrift stores, etc. I have over a dozen turntables I picked up that way from this year alone.
  4. It's an 80's issue. I have two, both for quite a few years, and they sound and work incredible. Do a google search and you'll see what I mean.
  5. This is a great table for the money: http://cgi.ebay.com/Technics-Quartz-Dire.... item4aa4f9a1f4 Pick up a Grado Prestige 1 cartridge for $60 and you'll be more than set.
  6. I suppose you could, but I'm sure there's a different matrix number etched in the dead wax.
  7. The first pressing was done with the embossed cover and the 4" single. The second pressing was done with the embossed cover and no single, and the current or third pressing does not have the embossed cover or the single. However, the limited edition CD came with the 4" single.
  8. Why not just max your bid at what you're willing to pay?
  9. You shouldn't need more than a carbon fiber brush if you clean the record before and after each play.
  10. The current crop all have blank labels. I stock them all if anyone is interested.
