I like whoever suggested the idea of putting the new records in a jacket from the TC pressing and selling the Frankenstein leftover.

$200 is steep. It's just about the top of the threshold for what people would be willing to pay for this, which is probably why they priced it as such. I think a much more "fair" price for this would have been somewhere in the $125-$160 range.

I'm justifying this purchase by the fact that if I get buyer's remorse later, I can definitely get my money back selling the thing. 230

In one of the many other threads on this topic, someone claimed they spoke to a band member who stated that OOTV will be getting a separate pressing, but for some reason, the rest will not. I'll see if I can dig that up.

It wasn't on the Red Star EP. That was just "Non-Dairy Creamer," "Red Star" and a live version of "Why Can't You Be?" That would BLOW.

The way this is worded seems like everything but the Red Star EP will be released individually.

So would it be safe to assume that since the amazon.de orders are delayed and people have already received red copies that these will almost definitely be black?

If I were to order one of these, would ponying up the extra for the deluxe version with the acrylic platter and the better cartridge be worth it?

I sold a copy of Smashing Pumpkins' Gish to a guy on Ebay. He emails me telling me that USPS bent the package in half and that the sleeve was destroyed beyond recognition and that he wanted a partial refund. I told him to send me pictures and ultimately send me back the record and I would be glad to issue him a refund of the purchase price. I didn't hear from him again for 2 months until he left me positive feedback. I really think there's just a group of eBayers out there that just want to fuck people over. Worse than flippers.
