I packed this up in a record mailer, with extra cardboard for stability. Even took the record out of the jacket to prevent seem splits, lots of packing tape, clearly marked fragile. Record got fucked anyway. The personsaid the corner got bent over and around the record and the jacket is totally destroyed. I have no idea how USPS pulled that one off.

Yeah, I know I'm going to have to issue a refund, it just sucks, you know? Anyone interested in a copy of Smashing Pumpkins' Gish with a terribly mangled cover? lol

Packed it up all nice an everything. Now the buyer is pissed and wants a refund. Even though they didn't pay for insurance, I'm reading eBay TOS and it seems like this is still somehow my fault. Is there anything I can do, or am I pretty much fucked and out of a record and money on this one.

There was only really one press of this. Every single one in US was green, where as the majority of the UK got black, though some green were sent over there as well.

I think travis said that the vinyl wouldn't be in stores until ~june edit: Interpunk sent me an email a few weeks ago saying the vinyl had been delayed.

I've never listened to them but "We Were Promised Jetpacks" always struck me as a cool band name.

Did you call? I called paypal, they referred me to the credit card dept as I put it on my paypal extras mastercard. The credit card portion was able to put in a formal dispute, they supposedly did an "investigation" and I got my $39 back about a week later.

Which of the variants is rarer? I got the brown and it's kind of ugly, haha.

I opened mine up, tossed it on the turntable and immediately noticed the labels are on the wrong sides. Also, "Don't Fly Too Close To The Sun" plays perfectly fine, but "Tongue Tied (Live)" changes speed randomly and is almost unlistenable. Anyone else have these problems? I encountered it on two different record players and it only seems to be this one side of this one record that is affected.

Im thinking maybe that tan color thats on the cover. Or maybe I should do something weird like hot pink or orange so we can keep the bitching going strong in this thread. I think the way to make the largest amount of people happy would be for you to press it on picture discs of the hot topic logo. That way everyone wins.
