  3. O rly? Guilty until proven innocent. oh, this is because i hoped he actually did it, rather than me thinking that he did it. i'm a broncos fan and he's on the chargers and i don't like him. not like the broncos are going to win the division or anything.
  4. [Rec] Spanish horror movie with similar "documentary" first-person style as in Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield. I liked it enough to put on the American remake, Quarantine, on netflix streaming while doing other stuff, but the original is a lot better than the remake.
  5. i hope he goes to jail and gets suspended for a really long time
  6. http://www.merchdirect.com/Glassjaw?cat=0&c=259 you can buy presale w/ shirt now, but it's $39
  7. i got fucked by some guy who didn't send me my records... but then i filed a paypal claim and got about $2 back.. does that count?
  8. i can't remember for sure, but this was the first and only thing that came to mind, so if not the first, then one of the first.
  9. i saw this right after watching inglorious basterds and enjoyed both. before going to see the movie, i had no idea what it was about other than that it was an alien movie and that it got good reviews. i like how the advertising campaign involved signs saying "for humans only". a few months ago i saw one of the signs on some cafe window and didn't even know it was a movie, as there was just a phone number and a web site (which i didn't check out). of course as the release date came up, i started seeing more signs and found out it was a movie, but i liked how they marketed it, although I don't know a thing about the trailer because i don't watch tv.
  10. i was under the impression that emergency room costs are so high because they cannot turn away people without health insurance, so to balance out the uninsured people not paying, the costs are high and are eaten by the insurance companies / people that could pay. if only they'd disclose to you how much it'd cost before treating you, i'd say that'd be a lot better. if i cut my finger open or something like that and had to get stitches and someone told me that it'd cost $1500, i'd say screw that and i'd ask nurses i know personally to do it for me. of course that'd depend on the severity of the injury, but i know i definitely would think twice before ever showing up in an ER if it's something i could take care of at home or in urgent care.
  11. i'll be going. i also have an extra ticket so if anyone wants it PM me. i'll sell for whatever door price is
  12. Finally, Odom agrees w/ the Lakers http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4367213
  13. in this link there's a map of the landmarks from this movie it's pretty cool to see where the places are and everything http://laist.com/2009/07/27/map_of_the_day_the_landmarks_of_500.php
  14. damn it, i can go see OWTH & Dear Landlord by myself or go drinking w/ my friends in k-town... in an ideal situation, i'd go drinking w/ my friends while at the show, but they don't listen to the same music...
  15. i don't know if any of their albums have been pressed, but i couldn't really get into their latest, with the whole "read the booklet and listen to the album and you should be reading this part of the book at this certain time" thing i liked the two albums before that though.
  16. (500) Days of Summer I liked it, it's a pretty cute movie, yeah, it's a romantic comedy, but Zooey Deschanel is in it, which is why I initially wanted to see it. I liked the style of the movie and while not really laugh out loud funny, lots of parts made me smile.
  17. got my order faxed in to the troubadour and got my confirmation. now to get my tickets from chain on saturday when they go on sale..
  18. i wouldn't go as far to say that.. i don't remember exactly, but the salt levels make it so that your body does not absorb the salt or the water as it goes through your digestive tract. so you drink the quart of water and it basically goes through in 30 - 60 minutes and you shit it all out. i don't know if you're supposed to have fasted some time before doing this, but i think it would be better to have as less stuff in there as possible
