$5 right across the street. yeah, i've been to the troubadour a lot of times and only had to pay for parking maybe twice, but when i did have to pay it was either $5 or $8, which isn't bad compared to the $15 / $20 that they charge over on Sunset for those venues, and over there it's ridiculous to find steet parking

my school was / is over 50% asian, and being filipino, all of my friends were asian and still are. was in AP / honor classes and did super well in classes. listened to a lot of hip-hop and was a slacker despite getting good grades and playing counter-strike all the time, i got great grades and great scores., but i could have done better. hs didn't suck and i had fun, but college was much better. i onlystarted listening to the music i listen to now while in college

i haven't been injured other than some bruises, but one time i was losing my shoe and i grabbed it with my hand but when I put my foot down i stepped in a puddle of floor juice and my sock was all wet. i had to put my shoe back on with my sock all wet. disgusting.

yeah, those were horrible. good thing the defense didn't fold and kept it up to basically make 3 stops in a row if it weren't for those penalties

i thought it sold out faster than 30 seconds, refreshed right at noon and got a waiting message. now the took off the thing saying there *might* be tickets available.. oh well.. i expected it to be based purely on luck to get tickets anyway..

i ended up getting tickets. i asked a friend that hasn't gotten back to me, but if that falls through, then i have that extra ticket if you want to go. i found out about the show because of your post anyway.

i was excited until i saw the $47 part.. it seems a bit much for a set that won't be long:

last night was pretty fun. instead of a "gaslight" chant before the encore, people were saying "zombie time." my sister and i also ended up meeting Casey's (from Fake Problems) mom in the crowd before gaslight came on. although, i felt like an idiot because i said, "i was supposed to see them on their last tour but they had to cancel because someone died" and she said "oh yeah, that was my husband." it was kinda neat though because i still had the tickets in my wallet for that show because i haven't been back to the knitting factory since then to get my refund for the tickets.

i asked him about it yesterday in LA and he said that he didn't have them for sale because he sold them all. not sure if he meant the ones he had with him on tour or anything like that and he could get more from somewhere, but that's what he told me.
