Yeah man, the last of the record stores around here closed up shop in the last few months I feel like if they could've held on just a little longer business would've picked up...

I know. I just wish more HT's in VA carried vinyl. Only ones that do are like 4 hours from me. I think it would do well since there are like 2 record stores in all of VA. The HT that my wife works at used to carry vinyl and they sold a lot of it, but they haven't gotten anything new in close to a year i think...and what they have left is stuff no one wants...

Only 30 to go online? That's a smallllll number when you consider that most HT's dont carry vinyl...and MOST people's way of getting this would have been online : (

shudder to me is the definition of boring . This is like sirens or the self titled on steriods which is a damn good thing . I always wished bayside would play with more umph or agression or whatever you want to call it and this album they do . this and the new make do and mend never leave my cd player . I've always thought their Self-titled was their best. It's just one of those albums that it's hard to pick a favorite cause it's sooo good from start to finish. I feel like this new one is almost just as good...

I found some vinyl for sale at a random, tiny, hole-in-the-wall coffee shop. They only had about 15 records total, most of which were pretty lame. But stashed in there was: The Shins - Chutes Too Narrow Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea and The Microphones - The Glow Pt. 2 All of which i picked up for under $15 bucks total! Such a sweet score!

Have these ACTUALLY shipped from SRC? My Order Status has said shipped for a few days now. But USPS tracking just says that they were only notified to expect the package, not that they have it, or that it is in transit. Is this the same with anyone elses?

I'm looking for a copy of Eisley-Room Noises on vinyl. Not so much for me, but for my wife. I spend so much money on vinyl, the least I could do is pick-up an album she really wants... So if anyone is looking to get rid of one...hit me up...

Bring Me You Love was supposed to ship today. "Please note the City and Colour LP, Bring Me Your Love, has been delayed until February 1, 2011 – the VERY latest" is what the mail said. I have never been so excited for something on vinyl. So I'm really hoping they do ship today. Feel like I ordered this FOREVER ago.

Record store about 45 minutes from where I live is completely shutting down and trying to get rid of everything. 33% off on vinyl. But it's the last weekend they are going to be open. I feel like 33% isn't really a price that's gonna move everything out of the store ya know? Especially when everything is already like 17 bucks and up for single LP. I did pick up: August Burns Red - Constellations Mute Math - Armistice and Calexico - Garden Ruin for an okay price. Though I feel like my total was about what I would pay online minus shipping, which seems a little crazy for a liquidation sale. Also, at a small shop right down my road I got Sea Wolf/Eulogies Split 7" and Arcade Fire - Cold Wind 7" for a decent total. Good weekend so far.
