  1. i'm not too familiar with all the different kinds of paper but it's definitely more like something used for screen prints. i had no idea that it was going to be something nice like this (i figured it'd be a cheap promo poster of the album art) so i immediately regret not ordering a poster tube so that it wouldn't be folded
  2. hopefully these pictures aren't too big. sorry about the "tags". i just don't want possible flippers using the pictures on ebay in the future (even though they could easily remove the tag)
  3. received my merchnow order today. the yellow and pink look so awesome (as well as the signed poster). the blue variant should arrive in the mail tomorrow and i'll take a picture of everything when that happens.
  4. i have one of the double LP versions of Souvlaki and it sounds awesome..
  5. so awesome. i'm really hoping that i can snag a copy of the blue variant
  6. sounds like a job for mts... the first pressing sounds so unbelieveably good that i wouldn't even want to buy a repress because i'm sure whoever does it will make it look nice but have it sound like garbage.

  8. a guy who does shit like that probably doesn't even store his records properly. i'm sure everything he has is warped or cleaned with windex for his wall display
  9. i never said that it was entirely his fault. it didn't "sit on my porch" either because the mailman handed it directly to me. the LP mailer had no additional support inside of it whatsoever so it was more exposed than usual. the record was so fucked that i could successfully use it as a salad bowl. after a few days between glass it flattened out enough so that it is actually playable.
  10. i emailed Mike about my warped record and pretty much nothing was solved. he offered to throw in a free LP next time i ordered something, but no mention of sending me a new one. now i'm just trying to flatten it out in the sunlight between sheets of glass. i've never tried it before but i figured i have nothing to lose considering it's already super warped.
  11. Got in touch with Mike Park, and we worked it out. He's a pretty cool guy. what's his email? my turquoise copy arrived warped to shit
  12. alright i caved. i went back and ordered the three colored seven inches to go along with my 180g pack.
  13. i went with the 180g package. i was so close to getting all of the colored seven inches as well but i honestly could NOT shell out the extra money.
  14. if there's going to be different variants of this and the actual LP itself i might as well just burn my wallet.
  15. i've already arranged a trade with that guy for it. if he backs down because of this i'll be so pissed haha
  16. Colin Frangicetto of Circa Survive just launched pre-orders for his solo album My Brother's Ears / My Sister's Eyes under the name Psychic Babble http://new.merchnow.com/catalogs/psychic-babble Pink 180g- /250 (limited to bundles, i think) Yellow 180g- /250 Blue 180g- /500 (limited to record stores only) you can listen to a song off of it here: http://www.facebook.com/PsychicBabble i caved and ordered both.
  17. everyone who works in retail knows that not all sensors can be deactivated and that some need to be physically removed. the sensors stuck to the shrink wrap on vinyl at HT stores fall into that category. if they are removed, the shrink wrap will tear. a lot of customers freak out if you tear the shrink wrap. if you don't want the alarms to go off, tell them to remove it when you're paying at the register.
