  1. ordered both. still hoping to get ahold of the first press some day
  2. wouldn't that kind of be a bad idea in the long run?
  3. i kept refreshing and managed to get the clear w/ black and gray
  4. good thing i bought the three pack ten minutes ago because it's gone now.
  5. just recently picking out the jackets, almost two months after the PO, means it'll be a while. what a joke.
  6. awesome. this makes me wonder what the point of the "regular" CD is if everyone is just going to buy the deluxe or 2xLP with all of the songs anyway
  7. but isn't he going to make the money back regardless if he uses his own funds or uses the cash obtained from the pre-orders?
  8. My sense of entitlement? What the fuck are you talking about? I work my ass off, running 2 labels and a management company and sometimes get over my head and behind on shit.. if that's the case, than why do you intentionally give yourself more work than you can handle? why put pre-orders up months before anything is ready to be assembled and shipped?
  9. i've been looking for this for such a long time.
  10. if this is just the regular version i don't see why they'd make it a 2xLP, being only about 36 minutes long and all. the deluxe version of the album is around 50 minutes. it'd make more sense if they pressed the deluxe imo.
  11. i got the shipping confirmation for the yellow one this morning. just as anyone else, i'm hoping it arrives okay
  12. and this is why i don't really like MTS. everything i've bought from them sounds like shit. do they master these blink releases from MP3s or something?
  13. this is what i'm wondering. all of the previous albums have been 2xLP releases and since this is a "double album" i figured it would have to be at least a 3xLP
  14. nice. can't wait for this. hopefully a more detailed pre-order goes up on his website or something.
  15. Christ, kid, I just wrote my second cover story on Blink and have interviewed all three of these guys many, many times. So yes, I'm pretty comfortable in saying this wasn't planned out. i'm sure if you wrote for a magazine that wasn't Alternative Press than maybe someone on here would care. But no one does and i think you're wrong as well.
  16. me liking a cliche pop punk band doesn't change the fact that i just don't like La Dispute anymore. if this new album resembles anything off of the self titled 7" than i'll check it out. but if not, i'll stick to just not liking them. hah... Derek Whibley is such an ass...I was really dissapointed when reading the article about All Killer in the last Altpres...I loved that album when I was younger and the fact that he basically writes it off and says all the songs mean nothing and that they just wrote them as fast as they could so they could drink, do drugs and live like "rock stars" really makes that album worthless to me And that documentary on Screaming Bloody Murder was pretty fucking stupid as well...the dude is...what...over 30 now and is still trashing hotel rooms and studios...get fucking real /rant i totally agree with all of this and i haven't really liked anything since chuck. but anyway, aknf is in my current wants because i'd rather just have an original pressing for nostalgia and before it gets repressed.
  17. well i spoke to him about it for a second time a few months later and he said that he was pretty pissed about the fact that topshelf picked it up because he really wanted to do it. this happend a few hours after he tried stage-diving which resulted in him getting hurt and carried outside by two people
  18. they play shows here with good opening bands, so i go see them. they play the same set list pretty much every single time. after a while i feel like the lyrics were stolen from a thirteen year old girl's diary. i just don't get the hype. it's just my opinion on a message board. feel free to get even more pissed about nothing.
  19. i know, right? we have some really shitty bands here
  20. finally. every time i saw this band i would ask their mercy guy if he knew of any plans for this in regards to it being pressed and he kept saying he wanted to do it and wanted to do something along the lines of three colors/1000 of each color. and then he kept saying "vinyl" so thank you topshelf for being the ones to release this instead.
  21. haha so what. this band is from the town i currently live in and after seeing them a million times i'm sick of them. get over it.
  22. the lights at sea record is definitely worth picking up
  23. i assure you it is way different than that. the picture doesn't do it justice.
