  3. Wow, I thought there would be more love for Frenzal Rhomb - I'm surprised color isn't sold out. I ordered my color copy along with a black NUFAN since that color sold out super quick and I missed it. Can't wait for this Frenzal Rhomb - their last few albums have been real solid.
  4. Wow, that colored sold out fast from Fat. Glad I was able to grab one!
  5. So psyched for new Good Riddance. I've been checking constantly to make sure I didn't miss the colored vinyl.
  6. Picked up the Home Street Home 7" out of curiosity. Any idea what to expect on this?
  7. The 1st reissue of this from a couple years ago was only /544 so we'll see: (Color Repressing of 544 on yellow color vinyl. No longer available.)
  8. I was on the fence about this when I saw it last night but I ordered one. I like picture discs, am I the only one?
  9. I wonder how many colored LPs they pressed. Kind of odd that they made a point to say there are PLENTY available. Or maybe they were just saying that. All I know is I got mine ordered.
  10. Great fucking record. One of my favorites - both sides.
  11. Ordered both when I heard they were up for pre-order. I have the S/T in 3 different formats/versions already, but hey - why not a 4th? I'll never get enough of that record.
  12. bump it with a review: From Jersey Beat, "Long Island New York’s Brown Plaid claim to have written this record while “drinking beer, listening to Screeching Weasel, and watching cats poop in a dirty basement”: while the amount of cat excrement and beer is unknown, the Screeching Weasel influence is blatantly obvious. This is fast, hyper-melodic punk played with an abundance of goofy fun and obnoxious attitude. Nothing here lasts over a minute and a half and the guys pride themselves on avoiding the trappings of a famous punk act that Brown Plaid skewers on “I Hate the Sex Pistols”. It’s strange to think that the Pistols have become the Pink Floyd of modern punk bands-just as Johnny Rotten once defiled musical royalty by hand-scrawling “I hate” above Pink Floyd’s name on a t-shirt, Brown Plaid rips Mr. Lydon and his mates for crafting “four minute songs on a major label” and selling “shock value like Marilyn Manson and image like Good Charlotte” (Ouch! Really?! Good Charlotte?) The song is the centerpiece of this nine-song effort with other highlights including the Queers-inspired “Hippies” (imagine a sloppier version of “Granolahead” with the lamentations “why don’t you take a shower, why don’t you get a job, put down the bong and shave your armpits”) and “Guidos”. There are a few unabashedly silly moments here such as “Flapjack Faceslap” and “Baby Wants a Bottle”, a song detailing the moment when your girlfriend tells you that she does not drink beer out of a can. Every song is supremely harmonious, even if the harmonies are gone after thirty or forty seconds. Brown Plaid is not trying to change the world-they simply want to help people forget about it for about it for a few minutes." 13. It's got that xerox'd look, but no, it's a regular printed cover. However, it does have a handwritten, xerox'd lyric sheet!

  15. Wow, I got my white copy already but that's very tempting. I wonder if this means they have new merch coming? Trying to get rid of the old stuff?
  16. Ordered, been checking the fat site multiple times a day for preorder since they put the album up there. New Snuff!!!
  17. This made my morning seeing this up for pre-order. Can't wait to get home from work now and listen to the download! Hopefully they announce more dates in the US after that NYE show. I can't imagine them coming all the way here and then not doing at least some sort of tour to support the new album
  18. HOFX was one of the first records I bought on eBay in the late 90's. Got it for $20, still proud of that one
  19. Holy crap! Wow, and the seller has an ebay feedback of 3. I wouldn't pay anywhere near $1000 for any record - and I'd be especially hesitant to give that much money to someone with such low feedback. Good luck guy with too much disposable income.
