  1. That would be beneficial to all of us but it could cause the servers to crash if everyone accesses the website at the same time. Axe To Fall, Jane Doe and PTSBBAM preorders are a perfect examples of this.

At least we wouldn't have to constantly check to see if it went up. I made the mistake of working and not checking the site for a few hours and missed out on the Deafheaven splatter. Obviously my own problem that I want to get all the variants, but I don't want to go out for a sandwich and find out that I missed the boat. I do love sandwiches though.

  2. I would without a doubt sue the city and her personally if you can. What it comes down to is that she needs to lose her job. If everything you have described is true, do you really want someone else to have to go through the same thing? An apology won't do anything, she will still be the same bitch that she is until something life changing happens to her. What she did goes beyond having a shitty day or bad week, it shows the core of her character.

  3. Yeah, I gave the finger to cable/Directv a few years ago. Scammers who are destined to fall. I bought an antenna for local stations, stream Netflix on my Roku, which also gives me access to a bunch of other options. I miss some of the sports, but I can go to a bar and get drunk while watching the game instead of giving it to pay TV. People are suckers who pay all that money. Once those companies start realizing that they are losing money they will have to start charging reasonable prices. Plus it pisses me off that Directv has a monopoly on football. Screw 'em.

  4. Whenever people get sassy about Rise variants I like to remind them of MDAM's last LP.....The "tri wedge" that they ended up being silver ahahahaha

I wish I could just take the 3 bands I like off that label and actually do what the release info promises sometime :D

Yep. I cancelled my order for that, took the free download, and still haven't bought a copy. I hate Rise.

  5. I'm lucky that my baseball team has insanely cheap tickets, but the merch is expensive. I paid $35 for a fucking t-shirt the last time I was there. I wanted another one, but that would have been $70. I go to games and buy the occasional shirt, but I'm not buying a jersey from them at the high prices that are usually charged.

  6. Throughout the many years I have been buying records I have purged my collection twice by selling off 1/3. There are only

a few things I regret selling. I like the fact that my collection is mostly condensed down to records that matter the most to me

and not a bunch of filler that only takes up more space in our small house. I usually put up an ad on craigslist and set a date

and time for all the buyers to show up. Then I just sit back and watch the frenzy while collecting cash.

  7. A bunch of people sending really low offers for records that go for $200. Making me feel like a jerk responding

To be fair, no one is making you do anything. If you have minimum prices in mind why don't you do some sort of starting price so we all don't waste each others time? I felt my offer was fair for the record I wanted, but since you are leaning towards ebay prices that may be the best way to go. Maybe you can make even more than you had hoped for?

  8. In N Out is great, but yo should try to hit up Tommy's in LA

From LA up to Norcal you can always detour to Santa Cruz for some wholesome family fun. The boardwalk is on the beach, was featured in Lost Boys, and has a fairly cool giant arcade.

After hitting up Amoeba in the Haight, walk down the street to Escape Get a potato pesto slice.

Have your parents lend you the car and drive over the Bay Bridge to see a show at 924 Gilman. Lots of history there and stinky bathrooms. You could also visit the lesser Amoeba in Berkeley and 1234 Go.

If you were 21 and liked booze I would have so many more recommendations.
