But they still make vinyl! And brazillian bands are most known in Europe and in Japan. A lot of them do european and japanese tours, but only in rare cases they go to the US, like CSS and Bonde do Role, who signed to Sub Pop and Domino respectvely...but they're an exception....

Lack of vinyl! We have great bands here in Brazil but you can count on your fingers how many records are released here in a year. There's just one vinyl factory in South America, located in Rio de Janeiro, that will close in the end of this month, then it will be even harder for the bands to put something out on vinyl. I know it sucks but people around here just erased vinyl from their lives, it feels like it never existed...

I have 43, but i've started to collect this year...and it's hard for me cause i live in Brazil so i have to import every single record and spend a lot of money in shipping and taxes( import taxes here are freaking high!). It's hard but i love it!

Almost all his stuff is available on vinyl. I know most of his records were released through Warp Records but i don't know if they were released in the US, and how limited they were. But it's a guy that's worth checking! By the way he'll play here this friday...

Hahahahhaa....anyway the gallows "orchestra of wolves" is an awesome record, if you have the chance buy it! I have the uk version and it looks and sounds great!
