I remember one time I found a deal at FYE - it was those Jimi Hendrix re-issues from last year, they had them for 11.99 (even the 2x lp's). I had already bought them, but that was an amazing price. As far as I can tell, since then its been pretty rough.

Listening to it now, this is great to have. Thanks Travis for the heads up.

If you are going to fill a 2x4 with LP's, is it wise to attact it to the wall? Or is that only for bigger ones like the 5x5?

The FYE in Ogden UT has a large vinyl collection, but its priced pretty high and isnt stored correctly.

Just picked one up at the Gateway mall in Salt Lake City. They have 1 left.

I just like taking care of my vinyl. I was just giving him my opinion on the coins, its not something I would do - but if he wants to its up to him.

Thats not what I meant, it dosent matter what kind of a table it is, a coin(s) is going to be too much weight.

Right - but I think there may be something to clear vs. color(including black). I've heard the natural "color" is clear-ish and that black or other colors are added to the vinyl and its the coloring that can make it more susceptible to static.

I work with some people who have albums in frames hanging in their office. I looked at them once and the frames seem to be warping the vinyl pretty badly. For this reason I don't think I'd ever leave the album in the cover to be framed.

I've always heard clear is the best as far as keeping static down. Anynone know if this is accurate?

Who needs this? Most people I know have four or five copies of DSOTM as it is. All of my originals sound great as it is so why bother?
