Every interview I've ever seen/read in the years post-Warner Bros they've said pretty clearly that they're only really doing this for themselves. It's the same conversation between fans constantly about glassjaw and bands like them that don't produce music and support it using the standard album release cycle. Not enough shows, not enough records, everything is super limited and blah blah blah. They do things the way they feel like and that's that, anybody who thinks a band owes them anything is delusional.

I've seen glassjaw live at least 20 times, and this summer in Brooklyn with B&C was easily the best by a mile. They can be hit and miss but they still have it when they feel like it. I feel that musically the band is always tight but Daryl makes or breaks it. It sucks that sometimes he mails it in (Skate & Surf...7 hour drive for that was a bummer) but what can you do. They don't owe me anything, I willingly give them my $$$ and I sleep at night just fine.

When I saw them in Brooklyn with Glassjaw two months ago they had the same issues. The crowd was crazy and multiple stage divers knocked his shit around. He seemed a little annoyed but not too much, I would assume dealing with that for a whole tour would drive you nuts.

I couldn't get into this record, so I have an unplayed blue copy with the sharkbite 3" I don't want. Shot me a PM if anybody is interested.

I also had the haze and sold it when I needed the cash, those were beautiful. I've since got the 2nd press clear w/orange blob / white w/orange mix which is equally amazing, and a first press test which will never leave my possession...no matter how broke I might be.

I would love, just once, to get a package from deathwish where the corners aren't fucking destroyed. I know it's really the shittty USPS' fault but fuck man, going from incredibly excited to incredibly annoyed is a shitty ride every single time. Fuck.

I've only seen B&C live twice. The first time was when they opened for La Dispute a few years ago and they were terrible (so was La Dispute now that I think of it, cool band but their live sound was a mess). The second time was last moth when they opened for Glassjaw in Brooklyn and they were awesome. They played Reflection for the first time and it sounded huge.
