yeah, i have no doubts that the HH color variations will be way cooler. clear red is way overdone but nevertheless, the record is good and its a great price. after shipping, its really a 9 dollar record. cant beat that.

i picked the orange one. i dunno, i guess brown would have matched the artwork best but its kind of an ugly color for a record and purple im just not big on.

to me this whole record seemed like it was matt skiba trying to be ben gibbard ala the postal service but not good. alkaline trio is really good though. guess it could be worse--we could be talking about blaqk audio or whatever that complete travesty of a project to music that is w/ davey havok.

well, i finally got a response on my 4th email. apparently my record was "thrown in the wrong bin" and he "didnt notice it until my last e-mail" and that itll be shipping out monday. still pretty lame that it took almost a month for my record to ship but at least he admitted his mistake and took blame. i just want my recorrrddd. been stoked on getting this on vinyl for awhile now...

i try to buy direct from labels or from VC, revhq, verydistro, bluecollar, etc. i really hate interpunk. theyre horrible at packaging records imo.

i sold a copy on white/green for 40 plus shipping on ebay. i thought the jacket looked awesome but i really just wasnt impressed with it musically. i guess in hindsight i could of held onto it longer and made even more but oh well, not a huge deal. boris is a cool band but the way some people throw their money around for their records is a little mind boggling--but not quite as mind boggling as sunn o))).

hm, weird. yeah, i didnt get the preorder package just because i knew it was a shirt id personally never wear and i really just wnated the record so i held out for awhile. whats even weirder is that i emailed them like when preorders just launched and asked if i could get the record by itself and they responded pretty quickly explaining its just for the preorder and that theyd be selling it by itself later on, etc. i guess ill give another e-mail a whirl and see what happens...

yeah it sucks. i dont even mind the wait. im a patient person. plus, i know theres a lot of DIY labels out there with people who working full times jobs elsewhere, etc. i think im more irritated that i cant even get a response as to whats up with my order. at least then id know, yes its been shipped or no it hasn't but it will be, etc.

whats up with these dudes? i ordered a cursed - one repress way back on like june 25th and never got it. anyone ever have any problems with trash art? are they always this slow? ive sent them three emails and have got zero responses so i opened a paypal dispute on monday thinking maybe that would conjure up a bit of a response and nothing. hate to rag on labels out in the open but thats just poor service in my opinion.

i got my jesu/eluvium split lp on clear red from temporary residence today. seems like jesu gets a little more mellow with every release. not that im complaining, i totally dig it. the jacket artwork is nice as well.

supposedly clear/green is the rarest followed by white/green. then white/yellow and yellow/green as equal amounts and lastly black. no one really knows for sure though. id laugh a whole lot if black was actually the rarest.

so stoked for this.

im pretty sure between two unseens is still in press? i know virgil had some for sale awhile back...
