Who's doing the lathe cut?
-
"We tweeted about this, but meant to give you guys the chance first. We found a handful of copies of our first run coloured vinyl for Kezia, Scurrilous, and Fortress. They won't be printed on these colours again and feel like you subscribers deserve the best chance to snatch them up if that kind of thing is your bag, baby.
If this isn't your thing, please excuse the bother.
Go here to check em out:
www.kt8merch.com/store/pages/protestthehero
Current inventory: (when they are gone, they are gone)
Kezia on Trans Red: 10
Fortress on Green: 25
Scurrilous on Tran Blue with Black Splatter: 25" -
Anyone who was looking for that 7" box set, we've got 3 copies for sale here: http://banquetsamerica.limitedrun.com/
....aaaand its gone
-
Don't know why they don't do Splendor Solis either.
I have a copy of this on vinyl, it's been pressed..... it's just stupid expensive these days.
-
I spoke to Jag and Christian from IME last year and they mentioned vinyl pressings of their catalogue were coming, but they needed to work out some rights issues first. Not sure how long that will take, though.
Can confirm, Jag mentioned the same to me!
-
He has been signing like that previously on puscifer stuff.
I can post some pics later, but it's famillar looking.
-
Post a pic?
-
Yeah, this sounds worse than the first pressing. Maybe different mastering? Either way the album sounds like shit by design pre-mastering no matter what format you get, since they're all "lossy" mastered.
What's in the matrix? I can check the first press and see if it's the same plate

Thanks, that thread scares me.

On Saturday April 16th, the band will be releasing a special limited edition 12” vinyl release for Record Store Day.
The album will contain two previously unreleased tracks from the Psychic Warfare sessions: “Mad Sidewinder” and “Outland Special Clearance”.
These two tracks, specifically mastered for this vinyl configuration by Paul Logus, will be on side A.
The reverse side will have a large scale etching taken from the Psychic Warfare CD booklet design created by Dan Winters.
The jacket is hand numbered thick clear plastic showing the full art design, thus making this piece for Record Store Day 2016 a unique collectors’ item for all Clutch fans.

As most of us already assumed, this is now confirmed just a bootleg knockoff.
-
Looks like Chicago sold out so fast that they added a second date which also appears to be sold out.
Ditto for Toronto
-
They dont give a shit! My 7" box set is all kinds of fucked up. duplicate tracks and labels being mixed up. Also, the pvc sleeves they are in caused outgassing. I told them and they pretty much ignored me.
This x100

Looks like they trimmed down the description in the online store a second time.
-
Oh wow, they took that off QUICK, haha. I simply just did a copy/paste of the item information directly from the KT8 website. It was at the bottom as the script shows. I'm hoping it'll still be included, I was definitely pretty psyched about it.
It's a nice looking head, got one with the VIP pack at the show. Now it sits with my Voliton snare head
-
Where is that snare head note? I don't see that part
-
Price is steep ($25 per LP), but I assume will be worth it.
Too bad there was no Avalanche repress with this.. I'm somewhat afraid to pull my copy out whenever I listen to it.
-
Oh, maybe the extras will go up in the merch store.
With a $50 price tag I have to assume there will be extras from the run of 300 (Unless they sold more than 20 per show)
-
Can anyone going to a show snag me one of these reissues?
Show's are all over.
Last one was Sunday.
-
I have a 1080 video of the show on Saturday night going on youtube. It's an unlisted video, just like my video from the danforth.Since the boys have good footage they plan on using I'd hate to spoil their stuff by making this public and all.If you feel the need to re-live your night and point out yourself in the pit, send me a PM and I'll toss you a link.
