there's a thread like this on the nofxwiki board. yeah, most of that stuff happens, i'd think. but other times people post some cool stuff thats on ebay, not necessarily records. for example, i posted the link to Kris Roe's auction on ebay. he's selling the guitar amp that he bought from Chris from Jawbreaker. the amp used to belong to Blake from Jawbreaker and also Ian MacKaye. and it's signed. or they post stuff that's ridiculous, like a record that's still available new from No Idea for $2.25 going for $12 or 13, or someone trying to sell a record for twice it's worth (like the Gimme Gimmes bowling bag set that the guy's selling for $600)

15" macbook pro. love it. but it sucks when you try to rip off software and the only downloads for the installation programs are for windows. or maybe i dont know how to use my mac and i don't look hard enough. i'm a new mac user, up until i got my macbook pro, i've been windows my whole life. so there's a lot i need to learn about it.

yeah, Ikea's Expedit is great. my only problem with it is that my walls have a little guard at the bottom, so the shelf doesn't go flush against my wall. there's some room inbetween, but it's not more than half an inch. i also made it a point to store them downstairs in the den (the coolest room in my house), since I'm not gonna be around to take care of them while I'm in school.

i read that in your magazine once, i think? am i right? those are some good rules, though. i want a Kid Dynamite tattoo but according that logic i'd have to wait another 3 years... hey if they do reunions, are they still considered "broken up"? which in that case, it'd be 6 years till KD has been broken up for 10.

yeah. it's cool if you have a copy of the actual record. i download anyway. i feel bad SOMETIMES, but if i like them enough, i see them in concert and buy merch, usually.

i had a trade going on with a guy on another board, but another dude on ebay accepted my offer for $31 (my feeling right now is that i rather would've had paid then let go records that i like). pretty decent i guess, but not when you could've bought two copies for that price when they were new.

aside from listening to music and all that stuff, i like to make movies. shooting them is a pain, but i LOVVVE editing them. i also play music with my buddies from time to time.

i think it'll be interesting to see what people take or add. esp if there's some killer 7" that someone throws in, or just something cool in general. like a yo-yo. or a porno mag. hopefully not used though.

$40 is a decent/average price. i bought two. one for $41 and another for about $36 (both inc. shipping costs). so $40 is pretty average. it's such a great record, too.

yeah, both pressings of Dear You are on blue vinyl. however, the repress is a double LP, the original is just a single LP. also, the original is a lighter shade of blue. for the most part i think they're the same though (minus the bonus tracks). sucks that most of the original copies being sold are promo copies and have the top left corner cut off.

maybe there should be a master list, whoever has it PM's someone randomly and whoever replys first gets it sent to them. and whoever's gonna be in charge of the master list puts a "X" next to the person's username. well that could be messy. maybe we send it out to each other in order that we said "I'm in", and from there, once we make a full rotation, whoever has it PM's someone on the signing sheet and asks them if it's alright that they get it. we should put ALL of our addresses on the sheet, i think. i dunno those are some crappy ideas and probably won't hold up. oh and i dunno how the box would take being shipped to so many places. should it be that the box be replaced by every person who gets it? or it gets replaced like every 2 or 3 people??

i like Bad Astronaut. didnt get into their last album that much. loved the first, though. interesting take on "Needle in the Hay" oh and i was listening to this playlist today that i made awhile back with sad songs on it and the acoustic version of "Single" was on it. absolutely beautiful.

i want in!!! did someone suggest there be a list in it? like a signing sheet, just to see who's had it, where it's been, when they had it, what they took, etc....?? i dunno. maybe they did. but this sounds awesome!!!
