This bizarro/secret variant talk got me thinking back to the Juliana Theory picture disc. As is his way, Ross had test presses (white picture discs) up for sale in his store. Not too long after the record was released, a couple dozen plain black test presses for the same release "just showed up" at ETR HQ. Ross had some foldover sleeves made (nice work Patrick), and threw them up for ~$50 each. At the time, it didn't seem like a big deal. But knowing what we know now, it seems quite plausible that Ross might have ordered the second set of tests to pull in an extra ~$1000 out of the release.

I had one too. I sold it to someone on here a few years ago. Didn't realize it was a hush hush thing.

Hitting the PO again this afternoon. FOB buyer - I am waiting on a mailer to come in.

I had variants on the HRC and the Acceptance records.
When the HRC records went up, shipping from Thunderbeard was cheaper, because our records always shipped for $3-4. He flipped out, accusing me of ruining a release that he had worked hard for 3 years on because I didn't price match him at $5 shipping, which is something we hadn't discussed.
Ironically, I've been in talks with Ben about releasing YMAEWK - So Young So Insane ever since I released A Great Big Hole. I haven't been "working" on it for 3 years, but it took time to get the files from the engineer and coordinate a release date with Ben (finally happening after his EP is released this Spring). Ross went to Ben and told him he could source the release with a CD. Then he asked people on here and online for a used copy of the disc.
He was going to source one of his releases with a used 7 year old CD, all while "ruining a release I had worked hard on for 3 years."
Oh, and I spoke with Nic from Cartel via e-mail a few times, and he had a different story than the sugarcoated ending that we all saw in the Chroma thread.- kurtz, brandy, museummouth and 13 others

Going to the PO bump. Some more stuff sold. Adding stuff later tonight. Help me pay off that CC bill. A lot of help so far, but plenty more to pay off!

Bump. Some stuff sold.

Updated what has sold. Responded to other PMs. Heading to the PO Monday. Buy this stuff so I can pay off a CC bill!

Cleaning out the stuff I don't listen to much anymore.
Vinyl - Prices are PPD. If a price looks unreasonable, let me know. The prices are mainly based off of a quick eBay search and knocking the price down a few bucks from the average of the ones sold. Some of these pressings I have no clue what to ask for because of re-presses.
Work with me and I'll work with you.

Any designers bored and want to help me throw together a Blink 182kulele shirt logo?
It should probably include ukuleles, and the band name.
And it should probably look cool.We have two last minute shows coming up in less than a month. So I'm ready to merch it up.

This is my friend's daughter. She has apparently been addicted to Step Up (the movie), and is aspiring to be a rapper.
Career goals. -
I'm starting TY and Baldwin at WR. I'm starting Forsett and Ivory at RB. I've got Gore and Terrance Williams to choose from for flex. Leaning Gore due to the Romo injury. Thoughts?

I've had the privilege of working on this rubber duck named Edwin. The company is Kickstarting it right now.
It's an app-enhanced toy that plays lullabies and fun songs to help potty-train, promote hygiene, and create a bedtime schedule. There are already a few stories they have animated to accompany Edwin on the iPad. I've been hired to provide lullabies and create other music.
You can watch a video and read some more about it on the KS page. I know it's not for everyone, but I know there's plenty of parents and project supporters on these boards.

Played donnell. Opponent had Morris/Paul/garcon.
I'm in pretty good shape now. Need a win BAD.
A guy in my league played Cousins/Paul/Morris. He is playing a guy that started Cruz.
Same guy wanted to trade me Cousins and Harvin for Lacy. I laughed.
My goal for the wire this week was to nab Donald Brown. He's going to score so many points over the next month or so. I was third on the wire. I thought I was gold because no one ahead of me had played the wire yet this season. Sure enough, someone got him before me. I traded Lacy for Brown and Foles.
I didn't draft a QB until round 11, and I had Palmer. Once he got injured I picked up Tannehill. I was hurting for a QB so I thought the trade worked out well for me. Especially to improve to a top 6 QB (number 1 in yards) and get a workhorse back.
Oh, and Mathews was a FA so I picked him up to insure I had another solid RB when he was healthy.
I might have given up on Lacy too soon, but I was really happy with the trade and won't be upset if Lacy starts going ham from here on out. Keep in mind I have Murray.
Side note: I'm stoked to see how Alshon Jeffrey does this week with Marshall hurting.
-
I'm in a bit of a mess. My weekly match-up is going to be close no matter what I do, but based on projections, I might win the "Poor Coaching Trophy" no matter who I bench.
I think I have my line up set, but would be curious to get other takes on it. My coaching is based on match-ups as opposed to projected points.
RBs:
Demarco Murray
Eddie Lacy
Knile Davis
Chris Ivory
Reggie Bush
WRs:
Alshon Jeffrey
Mohammed Sanu
Larry Fitzgerald
Julian Edelman
TY Hilton
So who do I start in each position and who is my flex player?
Dalton is my QB, and if Green sits, I plan on starting Sanu and Jeffrey (good matchup against the Jets) at WR and Murray and Davis at RB.
Then I plan on putting TY Hilton at flex because, well JAX.
Thoughts? -
Asking for more than you can get them for on eBay. FYI.

And yes, we will play Blink 182 songs. Probably a whole set of them. But we listened to Plans yesterday, and this song has been stuck in my head for a while.
-
So I am actually doing this. It was just a drunk idea when I originally posted this thread, but I have some guys that think it will be a good time, and I've been blessed with a new job recording kid songs on the ukulele, so I figure this would be like "cross-training" or staying musically fit on the ukulele.
Question: If you went to a bar and heard a band playing songs popular among the punk/pop-punk/emo/pre-hipster crowd between the years 1999-2006 on the ukulele/steel-drums, would you at least smile? Or would you just flip the band off and go somewhere else?
I started tracking snippets of songs that I think people at bars would recognize (bar bands have to play songs that people know) to give the other band members ideas of where I'm at in my head. Thoughts?
