  1. Here's an updated from the Burnt Toast site: http://www.burnttoastvinyl.com/blog/?p=1614
  2. Just create an account using the same email you placed the order with and all of your orders under that email will show up. That's what I did. thanks for that tip! it has all of my orders since 2010 and there is my tracking number for this. now i'm low-stress
  3. i assume they go in order but i'm not sure because my order ends in 718, which is before yours, but i have yet to receive a tracking number. ditto. i'm 831 and i haven't gotten my tracking number yet
  4. Because they don't need advance money to press their records and nobody likes pre-orders. I like pre-orders because they are much easier than staying up all night refreshing hoping to get a copy of an LP.
  5. if you don't have the admin password, it's damn near impossible. my guess it's automated and dependent on how many they load into the inventory system for online sale someone just needs to update the inventory number to allow it to sell copies
  6. when the hell are these shipping? i though it was end of march?
  7. i'm just scrolling through my discogs collection and complimenting myself on some of my great finds. i like to pat myself on the back everyday because i'm awesome
  8. with the last thrice record, they released a certain amount each time they went up for sale (like 100 at a time) i believe travis said there are 800+ that are going to be available via the website.
  9. I work at a bank and they are super tight on security. The only web page I can get to is ESPN so that's what I read at lunch. makes sense but that's a total bummer.
  10. i'm glad my work gave me a laptop so that if this doesn't go live before i leave, i can sit around and hit f5 in my meetings.
  11. what the hell kind of work blocks hottopic? do they block amazon too?
  12. A+ within the US. I'd assume they use the same mailers for international shipments.
  13. i've been ordering with them since 2004 and every order has been just fine there have been a few instances of items no longer be available after i order, but it's bearable because they don't charge your card until the order is shipping
  14. they marked my order shipped on 3/15 (sending the confirmation email) but the postage shows it wasn't even printed until 3/27. WTF?
  15. I love discogs! What I like is I know which version of a record I'm buying (if the seller lists it correctly which most do) whereas on eBay sometimes you just have to guess and hope. I also dig being able to have a full digital catalog of my collection and adding in any releases that are not already in the database.
  16. i've gotten some of the same responses from SRC during my latest debacle with them. i will never be ordering from them again as they have screwed up 3 of my 5 orders in the last 9 months.
  17. Wow, I didn't realize how "lucky" I am that I have probably 3 dozen music shops I can drive to in 30min or less from my house. Tuesday nights are my music shopping night and though I didn't find any LPs at the local CHEAPO, I did pick up 8 CDs. Don't forget pawn shops usually have CDs if you want to go the cheap music route. Also, many book stores are now carrying a used vinyl section. I picked up a limited pink version of No Use For a Name's Hard Rock Bottom for $6. I must have missed that buying vinyl was a fad that started in 2008 as my purchasing habits (aside from having a larger budget as I continue to work for "the man") since 1999.
  18. A local shop here in Minneapolis has a copy of Artwork by The Used. It's been sitting there for-ev-errrrrrrr.
  19. What do people have against a state that is always in the Top-5 of best public schools? How about one that trades on and off with Connecticut for highest per capita income? I know we didn't bless the Nation with 12 years worth of Bush presidencies but we are a great state. I suppose we owe Texas a ton of thanks for giving Bruce so much inspiration over the years. **edit I personally have nothing against NJ
