I had never even heard of these guys and then saw them open for a Minus the Bear/Motion City Soundtrack show. Needless to say I was blown away.

Just wondering how everyone else organizes 10" records within their collections. Right now I have all at this side separate from my LPs but it just feels odd having Radiohead's Kid A so far away from OK Computer. Thoughts?

this. they get crazy if you try and add a variant without actually holding it in your hand. I do add stuff all the time though.. not that big of a deal. It does explicitly say that it is "forbidden" (their word, not mine) to add an entry to the database without it in your possession… I’ve entered 60+ releases (and had my fair share of nitpicking from people who don’t know what they’re talking about) and bought about 15 records. Overall my experiences have been positive.

Got #106 today. Amazing production through and through and digging the expanded download. Sounds amazing too. I think my Dan Andriano side is pressed a little off-center though. It's not super noticeable but at some points I can hear the pitch shift. **EDIT** I am stupid and hadn't used the strobe light to calibrate my speed. After fixing it, it sounded amazing!

Just got my shipping notification!

A record I purchased back in October has a tracking number showing it's been "Out for Delivery" for nearly three months... (I was told by the Postmaster that a lot of mail went "missing" that day so I know I'll never see it)

As a buyer, PayPal is awesome. As a seller, PayPal sucks balls. In my decade of e-commerce using PayPal, I've only had to open disputes about a dozen times and I've had three opened against me. One was an item that wasn't received (I didn't use tracking so I ate the $$), one was when a sold a DVD of The Abyss on Half.com and the person complained that it was widescreen and they wanted fullscreen (I won that case), and the final one was when I sold an autographed CD booklet for Deftones' Diamond Eyes that I got from Interpunk. The buyer complained (in ALL CAPS THE ENTIRE TIME) it wasn't signed by the whole band (I had posted a scan of the actual item). I lost that case. Bullshit.

Their customer support is less than helpful. I paid via PayPal and I have a window on when I can report issues so if I don't have shipping confirmation by next Friday 1/13, I'll have to open a case which I hate doing just so I don't get ripped off.

I'm in the same boat haven't cancelled yet. I asked about the Lateralus LP I ordered at the same time as it now is marked as "sold out" but they didn't answer that question. Pretty lame in my book.

I know that if an order is awaiting fulfillment, it usually means that one item (they usually don't list which) is on back order and therefore holding the entire thing up. This happened to me when I order the Saves the Day - Daybreak black vinyl in September but the copy of Horrible Crowes was slowing it down. Give them time to respond. When I had an issue it took a little while to get a response but they actually called and explained to me the situation.

I've been really impressed by DHL for international shipping. That may be something to look into.

The goods I received just before the end of the year

I wouldn't mind seeing this either, but I'd rather them release them individually. Maybe release a record every other month for a year. I don't wanna to drop a small fortune on a box set. Then again, I rather see them do something then nothing at all. No matter how they release it, I would buy them all. This is one band that my vinyl selection is seriously lacking.
