Yeah its your harddrive.. same thing happened to me, I emailed the HDD maker and got a larger one as a replacement. But none of my stuff was recoverable

You can't legally send alcohol. But if you pack it correctly and make sure they cant tell whats inside.. I dont think they really care. I've sent soda before and they said thats fine.. and I'm pretty sure you can send wine..
