    The first time I saw them, they were opening for Arcade Fire here at an outside pavilion maybe in 2011. They started playing at like 630 or 7 when alot of people were still walking in , so no one was really paying attention to them. I feel like they only played maybe 5 songs too.

    The next time they came back they were headlining and sold out a different outside venue, and it was a totally different experience. They started playing right before dusk, so the transition into the nighttime with the lights and their music was an amazing experience.

    Twinkle has been really dead and lost on me. It seems like one a band a year comes around and actually sounds like they’re trying. Ben Quad and Sweet Pill are probably those bands for me.

     

    I really like Snow Ellet and FOOTBALLHEAD who are more power-pop/indie.

    Thanks for the recommendations, I will check them out. Home is where is great, my wife still sings "I want to pet every puppy I see" all the time.

    They made this update in May, again on instagram. But yeah no official email or anything about it.

     

    Update on Revolving Doors vinyl. We are still waiting on the manufacturers ( @vinylrecordpressing ) to complete the records. We realize the wait has been longer than we first told everyone. They are a boutique company so we’re trying to be patient them. It’s our understanding that the standard editions are done and should be shipping to Benchmark (our webstore) next week, and that the bonus disc is still in production so the deluxe editions will be shipping shortly after the standard edition. Thank you for you patience and your support. Sorry it’s taking so long.
