Think what you want, but this guy's method works damn well. I have used it on over 100 records, including some seriously gross ones. Also he has a bottle of dishwasher rinse agent, not soap there. As for the alcohol, maybe it isn't super high lab grade stuff, but it works fine for me. The records I clean with this method all sound great, no "vinyl sound".

Got mine today as well, its almost all completely dark blue, with just a sliver of light blue on one edge. A little disappointing, but cool nonetheless.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but usually when you preorder something through amazon, they don't actually charge you until the day it ships. All the preorder did was give them a scale of demand, not funds.

I've never ordered anything except innersleeves and a record brush from them. I have ordered sleeves from them several times and never thought the shipping was outrageous. Usually around $6 and they show up in 2 or 3 days. I guess larger packages must not be as cheap. Do you think black vinyl doesn't come from recycled sources? Carbon black dye has to be added to vinyl to make it black. Uncolored vinyl is a milky translucent color. If anything, black allows for even more recycled materials as color doesn't matter once its mixed with the carbon black dye.
