I realize that they probably make a good amount of money from them, but I really wish the flags didn't come with the bundle. Everything in the bundle is awesome, even the banner, don't get me wrong. I would just like to have all this cool shit without spending the extra 15 dollars and just have the thing sit in a closet.

Sorry if this is the wrong place for posting this but it seemed like the most general sub-forum. 

 

So my Dad is turning 55 in a coupe of weeks and I have no idea what to get him, except I don't want to get the stereotypical bottle of wine/whisky which my mother suggested!

 

He is a former musician and is in love with his sound system and records. I was hoping I could get something relating to this for him. He has previously mentioned that the record cleaner (sounded boring at the time) was the best gift he ever received, which I bought him for Xmas). I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for other stuff that people into this kind of stuff might like/need? He already has a fully kitted out system (i.e amp, record player and speakers) but is there any other accessory that would improve his experience? 

 

My budget would be roughly £100-150 (~$200)

vinyl lp display holder good for Brand New Devil and God Deja Entendu Daisy Yfw

Those look very similar to some scratches I have on a different LP. Even after a good VPI cleaning there's still some pops every time the stylus passes over those lines. 

So annoying. I know it is very unlikely that 4AD has any replacement copies from an over-run, but hopefully they can do something for me.

I can't quite tell, as I'm out of the Spin Clean solution and don't have a way to give it a good cleaning quite yet. Just used my Hunt brush for the time being. I gave them a slight feel and they feel pretty in there.

Looks like someone dragged something across it before it got packaged up. I emailed 4AD to see if there's anything they could do for me. No response yet, but I'm probably going to end up just having to get a replacement black copy. Pretty damn irritated.
